"Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter."
-Dr. MLK Jr.
.
Happy Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. day everyone. We stand at quite a pivotal time in the United Stares. At peace accelerators the Reverend Dr. is one of our favorite peace leaders to ever live and was the embodiment and avatar of speaking truth to power.
.
Many know the good doctor's speech "I have a dream" -- but have you ever listened to some of Dr. MLK Jr.'s other speeches? Many King scholars consider some of his other speeches to be even more poignant, edifying, energizing and morally persuasive.
.
One of our favorites we suggest checking out (especially at this time of transition in the United States): "A time to break the silence."
.
Here's one of our favorite quotes from the speech--
.
"A nation that continues year after year to spend more money on military defense than on programs of social uplift is approaching spiritual death. I speak as a citizen of the world, for a world that stands aghast at the path we have taken. I speak as one who loves America, to the leaders of our own nation--the great initiative in this war is ours, the initiative to stop it must be ours."
.
We are having a MLK tribute event at the Assemblage at 4 today. We will have the president of black lives matter, the founder of @collective.bae and many others speaking. We will be diving into some heavy topics that we cannot just push under the rug. We look forward to seeing you.

Sweet, courageous Malala.
.
We're assuming you know of this beautiful heroine.
.
Malala is a world-famous, Pakistani peace activist and a budding, powerful young voice for the next young generation of human rights campaigners and world changers. She is one of our planet's leading advocates for the education of women and children worldwide.
.
In 2012, due to Malala's growing prominence as a young, peace and human rights activist she began to receive death threats in newspapers and more from the Taliban.
.
In October of that year, while riding a bus, she was shot by a member of the Taliban.
.
The bullet went through her head, neck and ended up in her shoulder.
.
Miraculously, Malala survived and has become the young living emblem for peace she is known for on our Earth today.
.
Malala is only 20 years old and currently getting her education at Oxford in the United Kingdom. She is also the youngest Nobel Laureate ever (she received the award at seventeen years of age).
.
We are currently working hard to get Malala, Thich, and Leymah all as speakers for our International Day of Peace "celebractivation" in NYC in September.
.
(If you're interested in sponsorship of the event we have many new, exciting ways to reward you for your donation, feel free to send us a PM).

Let's just pretend Star Wars and the force are real and Martin Luther King Jr. was Obi-Wan Kenobi.
.
So who is master yoda?
.
Well... if you'd like to learn the ways of the real force, the peace within each of us, Thich Nhat Hanh may just be the true Grand Master of the Jedi Peace Order.
.
Thich was a huge influence on MLK Jr. and millions of other minds throughout modern history. He has written over a 100 books and is still alive living in Plum Village in France.
.
If you're having trouble in any of your relationships we recommend reading the simple yet profound, "How to Love." If you want to more deeply understand the philosophy of peace, check out "Creating True Peace."
.
No matter who you are, we recommend spending time with Thich's writings each day. You will be rewarded.

Dear women of the world.
.
If you want to be inspired, if you want to find an empowered female rockstar to look up to, look no further-- research Leymah Gbowee or Ellen Johnson Sirleaf.
.
This photo is of Leymah, a real peace-queen πŸ‘ΈπŸΎ , and one of PA's all time favorite living humans on Earth.
.
Everyone knows MLK Jr. and Gandhi, but did you know there are many other important transformative peace leaders throughout history?
.
Leymah and Ellen are peace activists who led a recent (2003) peace movement "Women of Liberia Mass Action for Peace."
.
All peace leaders should be admired, revered, and given our thought and attention time throughout the world. Many of them, like Leymah, are still alive.
.
At @peaceaccelerators, like Leymah stated, we believe everyone can be a peace leader in their own way, and we want to help you if you so choose to. We especially want to help guide you to leaders you should be paying attention to, people who are worth your precious time.
.
Remember, who we give our money and attention are who we give our personal power. Consciously knowing who you are being led by is a huge key to living a fulfilling and purpose driven life.
.
Also, don't forget that the United States (according to citizens across the Earth in a Gallup poll, arguably the most accurate polling company on the planet) is considered the top country keeping us from world peace. Action is most definitely needed.
.
"We are tired of war. We are tired of running. We are tired of begging for bulgur wheat. We are tired of our children being raped. We are now taking this stand, to secure the future of our children. Because we believe, as custodians of society, tomorrow our children will ask us, "Mama, what was your role during the crisis?"
.
-Leymah Gbowee.

Happy new year everyone!
What an exciting year this one is going to be!
.
Finally, @peaceaccelerators secret lab synthesis is complete!!
.
Two important questions to continuously ask ourselves are "Who are we?" and "Where did we come from?"
.
Much of our human population is unfortunately not properly educated about viruses, their fundamental and ancestral role in the history of all life on Earth, and their key functionality for life force, RNA, DNA and consciousness dispersal throughout the cosmos.
.
From a scientific lens, viruses are neither "good" nor "bad" they are self-replicating devices designed to multiply-- exactly like humans and all other life. Often we have negative connotations in our media of viruses because we only hear about types that are potentially able to kill us (or seriously negatively affect our health)-- not about all the positive ones living inside of your microbiome at this exact moment (your virome) wiping out disease fostering bacteria.
.
Ask astrobiologists where life came from and they'll likely tell you one leading theory is from archaebacteria and viruses eons ago-- likely from outer space.
.
Today Peace accelerators is launching our first annual Peace Virus! (Strain one) i.e. PV-S1.
.
PV-S1 is a benevolent (in regards to Homo sapiens) Virus to help us coexist better with our Mother Earth spaceship.
.
The purpose of this Virus is to infect humans worldwide with the desire to collaborate on world issues rather than compete.
.
One of the most obvious examples of the peace Virus infection is a desire to celebrate and participate in both Earth Day (April 22nd) and the International Day of Peace (September 21st) each year, two holidays that can unite our planet rather than divide us.
.
We are launching a petition on change.org tomorrow for governments and citizens across the world to sign to make the International Day of Peace a federally recognized holiday in all countries.
.
Thats enough for now. We'll give you even more information tomorrow. :)
.
(For great reads on viruses and how they may be the basis of all life look up National Geographic's article on Virus World Theory)

To round out the year, we teamed up with two emerging, transformative NYC based organizations to put together our first annual, collaborative, end-of-the-year holiday ball.
.
We used the event as a community convergence gathering. We assembled activist groups, movements, peace organizations, speakers, local artisans and artists to activate and educate us for the year ahead and guide us in areas we need dire progress.
.
Now, 2017 is in its final few hours, and we are ready to end our community beta test; ready to take another step forward, in organization, messaging, clarity, and follow through; ready to expand our level of reach, activation, and impact.
.
Most of all we’re looking forward to learning, listening and continuing to grow events that give needed leaders a voice, platform, and eager audience.
.
We have so many brilliant people to thank: people that stepped up and became new young peace leaders; people that realized this was a community they wanted to materialize and grow into our physical plane, not just our imagination; people that donated their time energy, and more.
.
In just a few hours we’ll be deploying something we’ve been working on in our secret PA laboratory.
.
Thank you 2017, for all of the lessons. Let 2018 be one of powerful transformation, wisdom, and growth for all of us.

"True peace is always possible. Yet it requires strength and practice, particularly in times of great difficulty. To some peace and nonviolence are synonymous with passivity and weakness. In truth, practicing peace and nonviolence is far from passive. To practice peace, to make peace alive in us, is to actively cultivate understanding, love, and compassion, even in the face of misperception and conflict. Practicing peace, especially in times of war, requires courage."
.
-Thich Nhat Hanh
.
By practicing peace together we can spread peace.
.
In our beta year, we put on the largest event in the world, "We Are One Species," for the International Day of Peace, September 21st. We celebrated both in the US and in Oslo, Norway. We gathered over 900 people together for this new, needed holiday. Our intention is to be a catalyst for this day to become a global holiday.
.
We will continue to take time to consciously grow IDP throughout this next decade involving and collaborating with conflict resolving organizations from across the planet. Our goal for 2018 is 10,000 people celebrating in NYC this upcoming year (2018) and to be in ten or more cities worldwide. We've synthesized a plan to achieve this, announcing soon...
