URGENT: Foster care home needed for sweet, couch potato Miko.
This Saturday, Miko is finishing his positive reinforcement, two-week board and train session with K9 Turbo Training. He was scheduled to move to a foster care home following his training, but sadly that foster care home backed out on him YESTERDAY due to "personal issues," leaving us with zero options for poor Miko.
Paws for Life Animal Rescue provides all supplies to #foster care homes: crate, bed, toys, food, treats, Nylabones, dishes, collar, leash, ID tag, car seat cover and seatbelt, plus all medical care and professional behavior trainers, as needed. If you need it, Paws for Life will provide it. All you have to do is provide a home and #TLC until we find a permanent adopter.
Please help us give Miko a chance at life. He deserves it. People have failed him and we promised him that we would never let that happen again.
THE GREAT THINGS:
1. Miko is fully vetted. He is neutered, microchipped, up-to-date on all vaccines, heartworm negative and has been on preventative every month. He is estimated to be 3-4 years old, and has a lot of life ahead of him.
2. He's a wonderful house guest: - He is crate trained, but not destructive when left free-range. - He is house trained. He's never had a single accident. - He knows all of his basic commands and really loves food. - He walks well on a leash. - He is exceptionally lazy. - He is sweet with his humans and asks politely for pets. - He loves the car. - He is comfortable being left alone.
He is a volunteer favorite. We love him for him. He is a good boy, who hasn't been told that enough. He was a volunteer-favorite even at the shelter he came from, before he was with us. Everyone loves this dog. And you will too :) Apply on our website. #adoptdontshop #fostercare #dogsofinstagram #instadog
