It’s been a therapeutic type of day, leaning towards some of this for today’s classes! AcroYoga at @firstascentclimbing Block 37 at 6pm then at Avondale at 8:30p ☺️

“The handstand line. Ever wonder why acrobats are so obsessed with it? There is an aesthetic consideration, of course. Many find it beauitful. There also is appreciation for what the line represents, a commitment to training...Creating alignment through one's skeleton means it is more able to manage/disperse/conduct/respond to Force rather than force being absorbed into parts of the body unprepared to do so. It means muscles can support joints and bones in a well organized position, rather than the muscles taking on the brunt of the force themselves.” - @elliobloxacro 🙏🏽

"Mom, I need you to take a picture of a handstand," I ask her. No big deal, even if I ask for an adjustment or two she happily obliges. My mother has been, hands down, one of the most supportive people in my life & this trip is a small thank you for all that she has done for me 💛
