If you love contemporary art and visiting new exciting places, I can strongly recommend you visit the North Sydney Art Prize... it's in the Coal Loader Sustainability Centre in Waverton. The Coal Loader really was just that and the old train tunnels are open to the public and currently full of contemporary art! You access them down a metal industrial stairwell that snakes past initiatives such as the chicken run situated on the slope... it's a very cool place, and the art is there until next Sunday!! . This is "Between Certainties" by Nerine Martini, part of the art works on show in the out buildings at the top near the cafe and visitors centre... . I'll post a couple more shots for you.... .
