Anyone can be a Superman or Superwoman (Less Sugar more Fat should do it) 🥊😉

If you are eating multiple meals per day, and they contain too many carbs, your insulin is continually rising to deal with the rising tide of blood sugar, and fat burning is consistently cut off. Simply put, your body always gives carbs priority treatment 🙇

☝️Most dieters only use the scale to measure a diets effectiveness but that doesn't give any information as to what is actually being lost:
👉 Muscle
👉 Fat
👉 Water
Changes in body weight does not tell the full story.
The scale is not an indicator if the diet is working.
It is even more important to be aware when discussing the Ketogenic diet due to shifts in water weight.
It should be understood that the initial weight loss on a Ketogenic diet is water.
This is especially critical when individuals come off a Ketogenic diet.
The rapid weight gain which occurs when carbohydrates are reintroduced into the diet, which can be 3-5 pounds per day, can be psychologically devestating to dieters.
In the same way that fat cannot be lost extremely rapidly, it is physiologically impossible to gain 3-5 pounds of true body fat per day. 👊

Eat less exercise more is simple. But humans are not simple. Quantity of calories is not the only factor. The type of calorie matters. And if you're having problems. It's most likely NOT the FAT ☺️

A nice reminder that nutrition is only the starting point. The first step. The fuel. Worthless if not used appropriately. With purpose.

💁‍♂️ The primary purpose of ketones is to fuel our brain during periods of starvation
💁‍♂️ If Mother Nature did not provide us with this ability our ancestors would not have survived
💁‍♂️ Science has now proven that when we fuel our brains and bodies with ketones it has tremendous advantages (weight loss, brain function, energy, etc.)
💁‍♂️ This can be done by:
1. Starvation and Fasting
2. Exercise Ketosis
3. Ketogenic Dieting
4. MCT Oil and Powders
5. Exogenous Ketones
🙋‍♂️ There is no right or wrong strategy
🙋‍♂️ Experiment
🙋‍♂️ Find what works
🙋‍♂️ Enjoy the benefits

In 1️⃣9️⃣4️⃣0️⃣, one scientific study proposed that low-fat dieting may prevent heart disease
2️⃣0️⃣ years later, this was extended to suggesting everyone can benefit from ‘low-fat’

3️⃣0️⃣ years later, the concept of ‘low-fat’ is an overarching ideology of good health

4️⃣0️⃣ years later, the industry is making big profits by replacing fat with sugar

5️⃣0️⃣ years later, low-fat was endorsed by health authorities, and demanded by consumers

6️⃣0️⃣ years later, rates of diabetes, obesity, and chronic disease are at an all-time high

7️⃣0️⃣ years later, and most of us still believe the biggest nutrition lie ever told...

💁‍♂️ "Carbohydrates trigger insulin release from the pancreas, causing growth of visceral fat; visceral fat causes insulin resistance and inflammation. High blood sugars, triglycerides, and fatty acids damage the pancreas. After years of overwork, the pancreas succumbs to the thrashing it has taken from glucotoxicity, lipotoxicity, and inflammation, essentially “burning out,” leaving a deficiency of insulin and an increase in blood glucose—diabetes"
💁‍♂️ "The higher the blood glucose after consumption of food, the greater the insulin level, the more fat is deposited. This is why, say, eating a three-egg omelet that triggers no increase in glucose does not add to body fat, while two slices of whole wheat bread increases blood glucose to high levels, triggering insulin and growth of fat, particularly abdominal or deep visceral fat."
💁‍♂️ "In short, carbohydrates, especially those such as wheat products that increase blood sugar and insulin most dramatically, initiate a series of metabolic phenomena that ultimately lead to irreversible loss of the pancreas’s ability to manufacture insulin: diabetes"
💁‍♂️ "Eliminate wheat in all its myriad forms and pounds melt away, often as much as a pound a day. No gimmicks, no subscription meals, no special formulas, no “meal replacement” drinks or “cleansing” regimens required."
💁‍♂️ "The amazing thing about wheat elimination is that removing this food that triggers appetite and addictive behavior forges a brand-new relationship with food: You eat food because you need it to supply your physiologic energy needs, not because you have some odd food ingredient pushing your appetite “buttons,” increasing appetite and the impulse to eat more and more."
📖 William Davis - Wheat Belly

😳 here I was thinking this food pyramid was all in the past? 💁‍♂️ my suggestion 🤦‍♂️ don't take your nutritional advice from a packet of Greek potato chips 🇬🇷👌
