I first started following @skycreatives on Instagram because her food reminded me of my mom. Dinner was a big deal for my family growing up. My mom handmade every dish she shared on the table and it was really rare that I didn't like something (like perilla leaves and dried anchovies, but I love them now). This simple noodle dish called 비빔면 (bi-bim-myun) was something my mom threw together in minutes on a lazy Sunday. I think that food is precious because so many memories live through the ingredients and flavors, regardless of when and who it might be made by. I will continue to make this for my future family on lazy Sundays.
