Inspired by all these west coast #pokebowls I keep seeing ๐ŸŸ so I decided to finally make my first one with things I had in my fridge ๐Ÿค“. This was sautรฉed cauliflower rice, flat spiraled cucumber, spiraled zucchini, ahi tuna and topped with medium salsa....and i gotta say, this was BOMB ๐Ÿ’ฃ. Deff give it a try ๐Ÿ˜ป

Just two of the things I prepped last for the next 6 days .... Protein Blueberry Muffins and Greek Chicken Bowls ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜this is why i personally enjoy macros since you can literally eat anything and get your results. I received a lot of questions yesterday in regards to meal prepping and recipes and so on, so if anyone has a Q please email me!! (Email is in my bio). Ill help you out the best I can ๐Ÿ˜Š

Man ... I've been in a serious funk lately .... I don't know what's been beating me up more, the emotional burnout that I have by Friday from my internship or the negative energy I've been surrounded with the past couple of weeks ... it's really been getting to me in my head and in my heart ๐Ÿ˜ž. I've been sucking at soccer, hating school, and just been wanting to do absolutely NOTHING. .

I never let negative opinions get to me, because they're usually nonsense...but what really gets to me is when someone makes a defamatory comment about my character. Please .... to anyone reading this .... find something better to do than to talk about someone when you know nothing about them .... because usually you're judging what you don't understand. .

Just gotta remember that only sticks and stones can really break you .... and that sometimes you just gotta go at things alone ... but I promise it will make you a stronger person in the end. Channel negative energy into something positive .... personally for me, it's the gym....that's the only thing that's been on point ... but yah gotta leave that negative emotion somewhere. Please... do me a favor, follow the simple kindergarten lesson, in that if you have nothing nice to say, please ....don't say it. You don't know what affect it can have on someone ๐Ÿ‘Š๐Ÿผ

Although this isn't @akropolis_greek_restaurant Greek salad with grilled chicken (and @smp408 is the only person who really understands my obsession) I made my own salad that comes to a pretty close tiebreaker ๐Ÿคœ๐Ÿผ๐Ÿค›๐Ÿผ.

Side note, winter came pretty suddenly this year, and anyone looking to avoid getting sick should make sure they're gettin in their vitamin C. Instead of an orange, opt for a bell pepper instead ... bell peppers have 3x more vitamin C than an orange. Our immune systems are compensated during intense physical exercise (we're talking like 3-72 hours post workout, but I'm not gunna get all science on you guys) so it's important to make sure you take care of yourself with proper nutrition. I usually take a vitamin C supplement before the gym since I hate eating before exercising and then I have something with vitamin C directly after (in this case a bell pepper). Seems to be workin out well for me so I would give it a shot if anyone's interested. .

Alright guys, I'm about to go off on the subject of MENTALITY...bc the remark I received all winter break from ppl I haven't seen in a long time was "u seem like u've got it all together & ur killin it." While that's rly nice & all I can tell u that it is FAR (& I mean WAY far) from the case.

Currently I'm getting my Masters at Stony Brook where i have class for 12 hours a week & I intern at a hospital for an additional 21 hours a week. I had to quit 2 out of my 3 jobs to pursue my degree, making me ur typical broke college student that survives off of a loan. At my internship, I'm faced with a lot of high emotional & stressful situations that no 24 year old should ever have to deal with, & u can't help but to bring those emotions home with u after the 9-5 shift is over.

Most of my friends are engaged, married, or in serious relationships while advancing their careers & Im over here emotionally spent from all the bullshit I've had to deal with the past year. Most every1 has their friends around the corner while most of mine don't even live within a 10 mile radius.

I was asked the question the other day "do you ever get depressed dealing with all of this?" & I had to think about it before I answered it .... bc to everyone's naked eye, I seem like a super happy, motivated, & energetic person, when in reality, I deal with a lot. I get these random waves of depression about how much I hate where Im at in life right now, & nothing PISSES ME OFF MORE than when people say "but look at what you're doing, don't stress, you're almost done." GEE THANKS SUSAN I FEEL BETTER NOW THANKS ๐Ÿ™„

I still get the "I don't know how u do it" when it comes to the gym and meal prepping, & honestly, it's bc I fuckin GRIND, really damn hard. I don't look @ the hours in the gym & prepping as A chore but more as something I HAVE to do in order to keep my mind straight. I dont make excuses & I don't ever feel sorry for myself. I don't trust anyone to ever be there for me or pick me up when I'm down. I only trust myself. I don't ever say I dont have time bc I promise u that excuse is straight bullshit. You make the time. Stay consistent and grind hard.
