A LOT can happen in a year. Yes, the physical change is evident. However, the mental change is far more significant. Growing from someone that was ignorant, self-deprecating, people pleasing, negative and lazy to a confident young woman that unapologetically loves herself, faces challenges, accepts growth and adversity, and knows she's capable and enough. Personal growth never stops and I'm still learning things about myself from day to day. Learning to love myself has allowed me to share love with others and care for people more than I ever have. I still have low points (as anyone does), but approaching life with a more positive outlook has kept my will strong. Never stop challenging your mindset and always embrace growth. 2 years ago I couldn't even go below parallel with a body weight squat, I had to wear a knee brace for nearly any physical activity and I was so inflexible that I couldn't put an unweighted bar on my back. Today I squat 155 pounds for 3 full reps...without a knee brace. Aesthetic progress is cool ...but progress in strength is BAD ASS. Achieving goals takes time, consistency and determination. Be persistent, work with progressive overload, and go f'kn hard. πŸ‘Š coach: @_magdalenaa

Working at a gym is AMAZING but can definitely cause some cabin fever on the long days. Had to get outside to take advantage of the beautiful day but didn't want to jeopardize my workout. Found some bleachers...problem solved. β˜€οΈ #getoutside #vitaminD
