Feeling very grateful. I just enjoyed an awesome finale to a very happy birthday. Finally watched 'The L.A. Boys' documentary. The story behind one of the most important (to me) skate video parts of all time. I felt very introspective and nostalgic all day, so this was very fitting. #blessedπŸ™ Thanks for a truly wonderful birthday @marisanuch I love you ❀️

I'm finding a whole lot to "like" on Instagram this mother's day. But there are none that i love more than these two right here. Thank you for all the love, joy, laughter and fun you bring to our family @marisanuch. Thanks for taking such amazing care of both of us and for showing me just how much a mommy can love her family. We love you all the much. Happy Mother's Day ❀️❀️❀️

Marty really enjoyed his first trip to the zoo today. Here he is getting up close and personal with a sea lion πŸ€—

Two years ago today, at exactly two months old, our little boy had a heart catheterization procedure. It feels like a million years ago. But seeing these photos takes me right back to that day. @marisanuch and i always loved how adorable he looked in that tiny gown and those fuzzy little hospital socks. I'm so grateful for my family and for how well everything turned out that day. Happy Cinco de Mayo everybody. #fbf

@maggiej00 always told me how endlessly fun it is watching kids grow up and play and do all the things their little selves do. She is πŸ’― percent spot on. Here is exhibit A. Never gets old. So very silly. My ❀❀❀

I made these homemade fingerboards when I was a kid. I can't remember how old i was. Probably around 4th or 5th grade. I shaped them from popsicle sticks that i cut and sanded down on the griptape that was on my real board. The graphics (bottom) and company names (top) were cut straight from the pages of @thrashermag. Back then, mail order skateshops would fill their magazine ads with tiny pictures of all the different boards they sold. I used Elmer's glue to paste the graphics onto the sticks. Then i covered the glued magazine clippings with a strip of scotch tape. I cut away the excess tape with a razor blade - the same way excess griptape is trimmed from the edges of a real deck. The first (non-toy store) board i ever had was a Mark "Gator" Rogowski from Vision. I was obsessed with that graphic. That's why the Gator fingerboard got a sweet griptape job. The typo on the @powellperalta name cracks me up. I don't think these DIY fingerboards were my original idea. I think other kids in school made them too. Either way, these are some of my favorite memories from childhood. #rollforever

Order status: preparing for shipment πŸ“¦

Marty says "hello" and "goodbye" to his fishy friends at school every morning and afternoon. It brings a huge smile to my face every time πŸ™‚πŸŸ 😊❀️

The ticket stub and program from the very first concert I ever attended. Aug. 1, 1985. New Edition at Merriweather. My parents were taking my sister and I BEGGED them to let me go too. Ronnie, Bobby, Ricky, Mike and Ralph. AKA Bell Biv DeVoe, Bobby Brown and Ralph Tresvant πŸ™πŸΌπŸ™ŒπŸΌ Check out the fourth picture for the list of other acts that played Merriweather during the Summer of '85. What was your first concert? Do you still have the ticket stub?

Every day, Marty stops to say good morning to the fish at school πŸ€—πŸŸ
