The easiest way to make sure you eat healthy during a busy week is to meal prep. (Side note: this can be very challenging when intuitive eating) .
Here are my tips for meal prep:
- don't grocery shop on an empty stomach (especially when you're trying to stay on a budget -- you might buy out the whole store or make poor food choices)
- include veggies in each meal (try mostly veggies)
- make freezer friendly meals so they don't go old and nasty in the fridge over the week
- if you don't like freezer meals, even cutting your vegetables ready on Sunday can save so much time during the week
- try to make meals that have similar ingredients or veggies to avoid food waste (and money 💸)
