When it’s time to bring in your garden herbs, it’s perfect for making medicine. I’ve got a jar of thyme oxymel infusing on my counter to help keep our respiratory system healthy through the winter and fall . Just add 1/4 cup raw local honey to 1 1/2 cup organic apple cider vinegar and add a few handfuls of fresh thyme and let sit for 2 weeks, shaking once a day. Strain and store in the refrigerator and take a tablespoon every couple hours for a sore throat or congested cough. This should last at least 6 months . #oxymel #thymeoxymel #herbalmedicine
