Video by @bobpoolefilms | Elephants eat trees, and in doing so they open woodlands into savannah and grassland which is good for grazing animals like zebra, wildebeest and cattle. These elephants are moving through an abandoned boma that was occupied by nomadic Maasai herders. Elephants fear Maasai but return when they have moved on. These trees were cut by Maasai to build the thorn-bush walls of their boma that helps defend their cows at night from lions. Elephants and Maasai coexisted for hundreds of years by respecting each others space. 🐘❤️#savetheelephants @gorillasocks @natgeowild #repost [www.gorilla-socks.com]
