It's one week until @macmillancancer is asking us to go #soberforoctober and get sponsored to go without booze or donate the ££ we might be otherwise be spending on drinks that month.

I'm doing it with a few friends. We all have people in our lives who've been impacted by cancer and this is a health-boosting thing we can do to help a great UK charity.

Staying away from alcohol completely for a while has a bundle of health benefits, one of of which is better quality sleep. We tend to get deeper and more restful sleep when our body isn't being asked to process alcohol. This topic came up in yesterday's workshop and a lot of women I spoke to have experienced the positive impact of less booze on their sleep quality.
