Behind every #zaikia is a zai God. Do you know this God? . Ben (SMU) shares his story: . "Growing up, I was widely exposed and pursued achievements. Played the violin, learned swimming, won many medals and trophies in national competitions across various fields like badminton, shooting, SYF, abacus, track and field, was a prefect, held leadership positions in CCAs, did well in my national exams, went to OCS, and the list goes on. . I had many friends and life was pretty much self serving, until I encountered the reality of Christ, that He is not a character from a "good values book" but a real man who walked the earth and through Him, fulfilling more than 500 prophecies to conclude beyond reasonable doubt that He is God, I then read how He demonstrated what love is, not simply a feeling, but a commitment to a decision to do what's best even though it might hurt. I was in awe of the extent Jesus went to the Cross for the very people who didn't care and were mocking Him, including myself. It was then that I realised, life was much more than just amassing achievements and enjoying it, but life was bigger than I can even imagine because the Almighty God would involve me in His plans to reconcile mankind back to Him! . Serving God and His church is a privilege and fills me more than any achievement I've received. Through my time knowing and serving Him, I've gained even more precious and eternal things like a genuine love for people, unshakable joy, depth of character, an unwavering hope. I'm definitely still a work in progress but I can definitely say I'm a zai kia not because of my ability, but because the God who backs me is Zai!" .
