Pro Gear Imperial Black F is an amazing nib at a premium cost, what I find weird it does prefer the flow of Iroshizuku inks over the Sailor ones. Really? Really Sailor? #sailorprogear #sailorpen #sailorprogearimperialblack #sailorfountainpen #handwriting #writing #poetry #pen #japanesepen #fountainpen #nib #goldnib #rhodia #dotpad #ink #handriting #cursive #nibspotter #notepad #journal #journaling #iroshizuku #writing #edc #stationery #takesumi

    I think my Sailor 21k fine also prefer Iroshizuku to Sailor inks 😅

    But every Iroshizuku ink I tried flows like silk. It is definitely superior to all the inks I own, and on par with Mont Blanc. So, perhaps it is not that weird.

    Have you tried blending inks?

    @yyin12 same nib right :)

    @inksnibsandpedals well one would think Sailor would know how to get the best if their nibs.

    @scratchynib true but Pilot put in more resources at a price to make their ink better than Sailor at a higher cost. Sailor inks per se are very good already imo. If only they had a wider range of colors like Diamine.

    @inksnibsandpedals I pretty much agree with all you just said :)

    This has been my observation too. Iroshizuku inks flow well in any pen I've put them in and the color and saturation is superb. All my other inks, including MontBlanc and sailor, tend to be picky. I've come up with a compatibility list of inks and pens and try to put specific inks in specific pens.
