If you're just starting out.... think of fitness or weight loss as... "I'm just gonna try and see" this way you don't put so much pressure on yourself to be perfect. It's the perfection and then the guilt when you're not perfect that gets you off track. So if you're starting today or tomorrow... JUST TRY! That's all you need to do.
