Lunch is served.- A Waffle Christmas Tree 🎄I made the green batter by adding a handful of spinach to the waffle mix. I used my @vitamix to blend the batter until it was smooth. Next I poured the batter in my waffle iron and presto! Green Christmas tree🎄

☝🏻Quick tip: Adding a little spinach to your baked goods is a nice way to add greens to your kids diet without overwhelming them with leafy greens. It’s a little #pickyeater trick I use on my two babes. I hope you give this a try 😊

Crispy #chickpeas! The perfect crunchy snack 😋 these are always on heavy rotation at my house. Perfect as a snack or crunchy addition to a salad or soup 👌🏻

Step 1: use home cooked chickpeas or open a can of chickpeas. I like to use @edenfoods
Step 2: dry chickpeas with paper towel
Step 3: sprinkle with spices of choice (paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, cumin, salt and pepper)
Step 4: drizzle with cococonut oil
Step 5: convection roast at 400f for 20-30 minutes or until crispy 👌🏻

One pot meal and I’m all 🙌🏻💃🏻🌟🥂because life gets so damn busy sometimes.

➕In a large dutch oven I browned up 1 pound of grass fed beef with 1 medium sized onion in a bit of ghee. Next I added couple crushed cloves of garlic, 1 tsp parsley, 1tsp oregano and 1 tsp of sea salt. To that I added a jar or marinara sauce, 6 cups of broth, 1 can of crushed tomatoes and 2 tbsp of tomato paste, 10 uncooked lasagna noodles (broken into pieces) and 2 small chopped zucchini. I simmered until lasagna noodles were tender (about 20 minutes) I added more broth to reach a desired consistency. And served with a side of salad.
✨You can also shred cheese or add creamy ricotta for extra deliciousness!

Happy Friday! Today we’re celebrating my hubby Birthday so we’re going all out. We had waffles in the morning, Rudolph for lunch and chocolate cake in the making 🙌🏻

Step 1️⃣ melt some chocolate
Step 2️⃣ pour chocolate onto a parchment paper covered cookie sheet
Step 3️⃣ sprinkle melted chocolate with fancy goodies
Step 4️⃣ put in the freezer for 15 minutes
Step 5️⃣ eat

I don’t own a microwave, so melting cheese can be a pain in the butt. I always tend to make nachos in my cast iron skillet or on a cookie sheet. I toss my cast iron in the oven and bake until the cheese melts. The nachos taste fantastic and the chips get that delicious crisp on top 👌🏻

Gingerbread man recipe by @detoxinista 💗

This my friends I call... breakfast soufflé. It’s fluffy, airy and tastes like dessert. Great for a weekend breakfast or lunch. It’s grain free, sugar free and full of 💪 All you need is:
🔆4 eggs
🔆2 tbsp yogurt
🔆1/4 cup berries or more 😉
🔆Splash of vanilla
🔆A squeeze of orange juice and some zest

1️⃣Grab 4 eggs separate the yolks from the whites. To the yolks add a 2 tbsp yogurt, a splash of vanilla, a splash of orange juice along with some of the zest. Mix it all up and set aside.
2️⃣Set your oven to 375f
3️⃣Beat the egg whites until soft peaks form. To your egg whites gently fold in the yolks until incorporated.
4️⃣ Heat up a 9 inch cast iron skillet. melt a good chunk of butter or coconut oil (1 tbsp)
5️⃣Pour the mix in the skillet add 1/4 - 1/2 cup of frozen or fresh fruit and bake for 20 minutes

Have you started your Christmas shopping yet? Ughhh 😑 I have and let me tell you its crazy out there already. Every year I leave my Christmas shopping till last minute and end up running around like a crazy person. So this year I’m being super mom and getting that shiz done 👊🏻
.
Here is a quick dinner when I have approximately 15 minutes.
.
➕I usually cook up some ground chicken or chicken meatballs. Sauté whatever veggies I have in hand add fresh basil, butter, olive oil, salt and pepper. Add in my pasta and we’re eating in less than 15 minutes. The pasta I’m using is by @gogoquinoa and it seriously only takes 4 minutes to cook 🤩 it’s my goto at the moment 🙌🏻

My kids don’t always eat their vegetables and they don’t always listen. They scream and cry and drive me up the wall. But somehow I am able to be patient, strong, light-hearted and full of love - no matter what.

One of the best things about finding a community of moms is that there is always someone to commiserate. Whether you’ve been up all night or you’re simply hiding in the bathroom for two minutes of peace. We’ve all been there! So I’m here today to remind us all that we are all doing a damn good job! 💕
