O'Reilly Auto Parts

Check out this beauty we spotted at the Auto Fest Car Show in Imperial Beach, CA earlier this month! Can you tell us what it is? #throwbackthursday #classiccar

We lucked out with another #TruckTuesday for #TransformationTuesday. This one comes from Shawn Sweeney. "She is a 1955 Chevy Cameo. It's a total frame-off nut and bolt restoration. Todd at the Machesney Park Illinois O'Reilly Auto Parts hooked me up with the parts I needed for this truck." We're honored to be a part of this beautiful restoration, Shawn. Thank you for sharing!

Just a little '64 Impala SS for your Monday morning from Tim Richardet. Enjoy!

We love it when #TransformationTuesday and #TruckTuesday collide!
This 1981 Chevy comes from Rodney Brewer.
"My mother and father bought it new, and my dad passed away a couple years after they got it. It was his favorite truck and my oldest brother and I just got done restoring it. He is 68 years old with health problems and I am 58 years old and in a wheelchair, but we did every bit of it by ourselves. It has a lot of O'Reilly parts on it! It has a 60 over 425 Oldsmobile big block motor 400 automatic transmission"
Thank you for sharing, Rodney. You did a beautiful job!

"It started life as a 1970 Coronet 500 Convertible, 318 auto, of which they built around 600. I found it out in Kansas in terrible condition. Everything was there, but everything needed a complete makeover. It is now a resto-mod 1970 440 6 pack, 5 spd Tremec trans, Dana 4.11 rear end with 4 wheel Wilwood disc brakes. Power steering, power brakes, air conditioning, the works. This old car has a lot of O'Reilly parts and pieces throughout it! She's had quite a ride, including traveling every mile of old Route 66. It's been a blast!" -Mike Meads
Thank you for sharing your transformation on #TransformationTuesday, Mike! Want your project to be featured? Park it in the comments below.

This #TransformationTuesday comes from Howard Duncan, and you know how we feel about #green color schemes!
"I found the Bug down near Dallas. I decided once I got it running and drove it for a couple of months to put it up on blocks and tear into it.
This was going to be my last complete body off resto, so I tried to do my very best. It was going to be somewhat of a milestone bug so I named him Miles.
I am a huge fan of Edd China the former wrench turner on Wheeler Dealers. I thought it would be cool to have him sign my glove box lid, and finally, after about 4 months of trying, I got ahold of him through a couple of friends of his. When Edd saw the bug, he agreed to do it for me. Now, I'm sporting this one-of-a-kind glove box lid signed by the big guy Himself!"
Thanks for sharing, Howard. That's a great looking, bug. Nice work!

Driving has been known to both decrease AND increase stress. Which is it for you? #Friday

We are loving today's #TransformationTuesday from Mike Hardy who was a Team Member for over 10 years! "This is my 1961 Ford Falcon. It was a rolling chassis when I bought it. I put in a 200ci 6cyl and a C4 transmission. The interior that was in the car was just random pieces sitting in it. Between myself, a few friends, and my wife, we managed to do every single thing on this car minus the paint. It has several little modifications throughout the car, including the mildly built 200 engine, suspension upgrades, disc brake swap, and new interior." Thank you for sharing, Mike! Show off your own #Transformation in the comments below.

Check out this '87 Chevy V30 spotted on #ThrowbackThursday outside of Store #3741 in Washington. The 80's may not seem like that long ago, but this baby is considered a classic now! Thank you for sharing, Jesse. Show us your throwback.
