"You are not here just to fill space or be the background character in someone else's movie. Consider this: nothing would be the same if you did not exist. Every place you have ever been and everyone you have ever spoken to would be different without you. We are all connected, and we are all affected by the decisions and even the existence of those around us." It may not seem like it, but every person you interact with throughout the day was placed there for a reason. There is meant to be some sort of exchange between you. Whether it be a smile, a word of encouragement or words of wisdom. Or perhaps it was an opportunity for you to grow in an area where you are slacking. Such as: by yelling at that puto that doesn't use a blinker. They could be rushing to a hospital because they got a call that a loved one is dying. Or not rolling your eyes or judging that angry woman who is talking terribly to a cashier. She could be a single mom at her wits end.
The point is, we don't know what other people are going through and vice versa. But we have been strategically placed in other people's lives for a reason.
From the very bottom of my heart, thank you all for the comments you leave. Whether positive or negative. Both are allowing me to grow in some way.

"They say 'don't get bitter, get better'. Well, I'm working on switching them letters."

My name is Hollie. I am an outgoing outlandish individual. I have a foul mouth but clean up well. I have vulgar sense of humor but die of laughter at my own jokes. I will give you the shirt off of my back (which is probably why I am never in one. Hahah) or go out of my way to help you. I will be by your side and stand up for you when there is no one else.
The only thing I ask is to be honest. Be true to your word. Maintain your uniqueness and understand that I don't go out most of the time because I will miss my workout in the gym.

"As you navigate through the rest of your life, be open to collaboration. Other people and other people's ideas are often better than your own. Find a group of people who challenge and inspire you, spend a lot of time with them, and it will change your life."
-A. Poehler

Surrounding myself or opening my life to such successful and inspiring women has been life changing and extraordinarily humbling. I have learned sooooo much from all of these women.
From each of these ladies I have learned:
From Jenny: you taught me to be unapologetically who you were made to be and don't ever let anyone break your spirit.
From Erica: you always love and be kind to those you meet. We have no idea what anyone else is going through, so being kind is the easiest and kindest thing to do. (I'm still working on this one).
From Tara: from you, I have learned that is is okay to feel. You have taught me to let down those barriers and let people see me for me. Thank you for that.
From Virginia: oh baby girl, you taught me to always smile and not to take myself so seriously. You showed me that I can be loved even when I am being the biggest puta. I wouldn't trade you for the world. You is my ride or die. And I love you to death.
From London: sunshine, you have taught me to laugh again. Even though we haven't known each other for a very long time, you have made such an impact on my life. You are such an incredibly beautiful person, inside and out.
From Mattie: I have never met this young woman, but I have been following her for a few months on IG and her drive is sooooo incredibly inspiring. She motivates me to push myself everyday, through every workout. When I don't feel like lifting weights, I go to her page and watch her destroy her workouts. Good Luck at the Pan's!
From Brit, Katie and Jen: oh mah lort. You ladies make my heart so so happy. To have been able to meet you and workout with you and learn from you has been such an incredible blessing. You ladies have so much drive. Y'alls work ethic is unparalleled and makes me give everything I have to the workouts, which has then transferred over into my personal and work life.
To each of you ladies, thank you.

"What's a Queen without her King? Well, historically speaking... more powerful." There is something that needs to be said and I don't think is said nearly enough. It's this: You do not need another person to be successful or in order to feel fulfilled. If you do, then you need to do some serious soul searching. You were not made to be dependent on another person. You were made to be impossibly brave, spectacularly independent and untouchably powerful in all that you do.
Remember, a queen doesn't need a king and vice versa. Be okay and comfortable being alone before you end up looking like the court jester.

Today has been the biggest eye opener of these particular gestures. Everyday, I am learning who will be there for me... regardless of distance, gender or circumstance.
Today I learned how incredibly selfish people are when it doesn't benefit them to be there for you.

"That girl a hard worker. She be her own supporter. Money. Eat. Money. Sleep. Money. In that order." Wishing I was in my American Flag bikini pan-ties on a beach or working on some Oly lifts.
But, here I sit, craving to be in the gym.

"Gud job mum. Yuu kilt that werkowt." My biggest fan, supporter and cheerleader.
Even if I have a shit workout, this little one doesn't care. She still loves me. Even if I have a shit day, I know that at the end of the day, she is going to love me. She has my heart.

If you or anyone you know has been or is interested in joining the Marine Corps, I will be taking over SSgt Reese's Snapchat all day on Wednesday. I will get to share my story and take you through a day in my shoes. I will be answering any and all questions that I can. Get ready for the get down!

Some advice that I have to tell myself daily. "Never do the envy, jealousy, and insecure stuff. Be the hustler, the well-wisher and the go-getter." It's so crazy to me that people look up to me or are inspired when all I see are the flaws and the insecurities I have. But, just as it is with me, there are people that I look up to that only see their flaws and their insecurities. So, in order to be better for myself, I work on those downfalls daily. Some days I am victorious and other days, I feel like I am fighting to swim upstream. But, each day is a step closer to not being a negative Nancy about myself and what I see looking back at me in the mirror.
Cheers chaps. 😘

Looking at this picture, although a fairly new addition to the collection, is a reminder that EVERYTHING is temporary. Bad times don't last forever, bad decisions work themselves out... and through it all, God is at work.
I had been wanting to go to the Grand Canyon for as long as I can remember. Trips were planned a disgusting amount of times, but always fell through. And I finally realized why.
I wasn't supposed to experience this incredibly special moment with anyone else other than who I was supposed to experience it with. And those people wouldn't come into my life for a few years. And that was okay because the memories that were made with the people I went with were better than anything I could have experienced if it had been with anyone else other than those individuals I had gone with.

So, remember, if it isn't happening right now, it's not supposed to.
Be patient and wait for the right moment. 😘

Proud to be an American. May Freedom forever fly. Happy 4th of July.
