Clive Head's paintings reflect an instinctive need to create from his experience of the world around him. He is widely considered to have created a new visual language for 21st-century painting. From an unremarkable scene, for example a window seat in a café, he produces a wide-angled viewpoint appearing like a condensed, almost photographic panorama, impossible to contain in reality from a single vantage point. He draws influence from Cubism in his representation of movement through space and time, but aims for a more unified composition in the finished result.

A recurring subject in Roy Nachum's work is a child wearing an oversized gold crown covering his eyes. This motif is used to suggest mankind’s blindness caused by misplaced values and desire. @roynachum also utilises Braille text in his works executed in collaboration with blind participants: the canvases retain traces where fingerprints are left as evidence of human touch.
Among notable achievements, in 2017, Roy Nachum was nominated for a Grammy Award for best recording packaging for his art and art direction of Rihanna @badgalriri's acclaimed album ‘Anti’.

American artist Kenny Scharf might be notoriously multi-disciplinary, but he is best known for his fantastical, large-scale paintings of anthropomorphic imaginary characters.
Though his brightly-coloured imagery is generally viewed as playful, he has noted that darker themes remain, existing beneath the surface of his works, yet visible upon closer inspection. His dense and frenetic compositions also echo a Baroque sensibility, morphing and caricaturing middle-class America’s utopian and dystopian dichotomy.

Pierre Soulages is known as "the painter of black", owing to his interest in it as both a colour and a non-colour. He says "When light is reflected on black, it transforms and transmutes it. It opens a mental field all its own.”
He sees light as a work material, striations of the black surface of his paintings enable him to reflect light, allowing the black to come out of darkness and into brightness, thus becoming luminous.

Contemporary Korean artist Seo Young-Deok @youngdeok_seo is a metalsmith and sculptor who has captivated audiences for years with his hyper-realistic sculptural renditions of the human body made with welded iron, stainless steel chains, bicyle parts and industrial machinery.
His work explores the relationship between humans and their modern environment through the creative repurposing of materials that have been critical to the development of the modern world and Korea’s manufacturing industry.

Combining the appeal of cartoons with the raw energy of graffiti and drawing inspiration from movements such as Jean Dubuffet’s Art Brut, Keith Haring developed a distinct pop-graffiti aesthetic centered on bold outlines set against a dense overspread of imagery.
