Yey! 100lbs on bench! Bench is my second hardest lift, next to military press. So I’m happy to hit this weight again. Not much for some, but for me, a proud moment. LOL#grateful to be #healthy and move my body πŸ’•πŸ™ŒπŸ½πŸ’•

175 x 3 at 95lbs body weight and a fail at 185 because I didn’t go past parallel. Still 20lbs below my PR, which means I have to keep on grinding πŸ˜…... Also, before people tell me that this is bad for me: To me, being active and moving for my own self is what brings me happiness. I don’t just lift. I jump. I dance. I do anything that brings me joy. Relationship advice: 🏹 There is a difference between having a fight and not respecting each other. Name calling, cursing, and not taking into consideration your significant others feelings are examples of disrespect. Carson and I have fights, but we never disrespect each other! We listen to each other and meet in the middle. I used to go into the gym with the mentality that lifting heavier was better. Lately, I have shifted that mentality to challenge my MIND and started doing volume. In my opinion, doing volume sets tests your mental strength just as much as your body strength. While this is also completely true for heavy lifting, I’m one that would much rather go heavy than do a lot of reps. So I have been challenging myself by doing volume. .
How have you challenged yourself today?
