By the end of November, I will have spent the last 11 months visiting 17 different cities in 5 different states and I will be able to say I have traveled to 5 different countries. My life started to change June last year when I told myself that if I wanted to live up to my full potential, I would have to make sacrifices, let go of toxic relationships and create a network of new ones. And so I decided what I wanted to be when I grew up: Photographer, designer, artist. I knew I could be all of these things. I definitely had no idea how it would come together, but figuring it out at that point was not my top priority.
After 8 years with my company, the decision was made to restructure and consolidate resources and manpower, effectively shutting down the corporate office I have known as my second home for such a long time. I am grateful for the training, the inclusive vibe for LGBT and my relationships with my coworkers. My greatest takeaway has been that you can turn what you love into real work, also that taking accountability and ownership is necessary for any successful company and organization, because transparency and openness are what continue to establish a foundation of trust and value for the team. Life never turns out the way you believe it should and while I know I am not the only pioneer in this journey, I will not stop moving. #believeinyourself #knowyourworth #stayhumble #inspirationalquotes #instagood #changeisgood #faithoverfear #worldtraveller #digitalnomad #dronestagram
