A surprise gathering, a cake with candles, coffee, and a little airplane hot wheel toy. She made my birthday as special as she makes all of my days.
This is @KathleenRaye, but I call her Kitty. As I flip another year towards 40, I realize more and more that she is the one I want to spend the rest with. Sure we’ve had some turbulence on the flight, but that’s no reason to put on a parachute, it’s actually when you fasten your seat belt. Kids in the equation sometimes means a lack of alone, grown up time that’s required to openly express feelings and talk about grown up things. Expressing my feelings is something I’m pretty terrible at doing even when I do have the chance and I’m thankful for her patience, compassion, and love.
This photo shows a giddy geek with a girl that’s way too damn hot for him, and I love it that way. Thank you Kitty!
