So the other day I was watching the show Psych with my grandpa and there’s an episode where the killer is obsessed with Hitchcock and assigns each of the main characters a Hitchcock character to be, and it got me questioning- Which Hitchcock character would you want to be?? For me I would pick Eve Kendall from North by Northwest or Melanie Daniels from The Birds! Who would you chose??

Elvis Presley and Dolores Hart photographed on the set of ‘Loving You’, 1957. The story of Dolores Hart is quite interesting, she was a star in several movies through the late 50’s and early 60’s, appearing in 2 films alongside Elvis. But by 1963 Dolores decided that being a Hollywood starlet wasn’t for her and left to become a nun. When deciding to leave Hollywood it meant she would also be leaving behind a fiancé, Don Robinson. Don respected her wishes to become a nun, he would end up never marrying and would visit Dolores at Christmas and Easter every year until his death in 2011. To this day she is still Sister Dolores at the Abbey of Regina Laudis monastery in Connecticut. If you want to learn more about her, she wrote an autobiography The Ear of the Heart: An Actress’ Journey from Hollywood to Holy Vows or if reading isn’t your cup of tea there’s also a documentary about her life titled ‘God is bigger than Elvis’.

For a very long time I’ve wanted to start a YouTube channel, and I think I’m ready to jump the gun! It would mainly be about Old Hollywood and vintage things! Does that sound interesting to any of you and do you have any ideas of specific videos I should make? 🤔 Let me know your thoughts! ❤️
