Chasing the Boracay sunset on a Paraw sailboat. We had a really epic and unforgettable moment with the Paraw sailing when we were diving on Friday. When we ascended after our dive at Yapak, we realised that our dive boat was no where in sight. The boat man basically waited for us at some other part of the island. Our dive master panicked as the currents were pretty strong and it was likely that we would drift to some other island or get lost at sea. A Paraw sail, called 'Super Zhenian", sailed passed us and probably didn't hear our plea for help and even said have a nice day! We were floating in the middle of nowhere with no other boats in sight. The sailors on board 'Super Zhenian' realised after a while that we were lost, sailed back to us and offered to send us back to the main island. And there we were, divers rescued and sent back on a sailboat. We thanked them profusely and they very calmly responded "My pleasure"... 😊 What an adventure!
