Trust me, more than most people I'm scared of heights and free falls. I hate rollercoasters and the feeling when my heart drops to my tummy. But I decided to take a leap of faith (quite literally) off the plane anyway.
For there will be, and have been, countless times in life that I would and have held back out of fear, uncertainty, or simply, the lack of confidence.
There are just far too many missed opportunities, unnecessary detours and avoidable regrets.
At times like these, when I feel that I would or may or could lean back instead of leaning in... I remind myself of the powerful statement in Sheryl Sandberg's inspirational book, Lean In: "What would you do if you weren't afraid?" Let's always remember to take that giant leap of faith because we can do great things, or at least, unforgettable ones if we just try to conquer our fears.
Don't just live life. Love life.
P.S. (and also actually the most important point) My pilot was the most handsome! He looks like Adam Levin!!!
