You know what they don't have in Spain or Greece? Poke!!! Which means I had to visit @wisefishpoke today to get my fix. ๐ŸŸ And it was fantastic!!! ๐Ÿ’ฏ Their fish is so fresh ๐Ÿ˜‹, their toppings are on point ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿป, and I love that I can do 1/2 zoodles and 1/2 seasonal chop for my base to mix things up a bit๐ŸŒช. And yes, I get the large because I am one hungry gal, and since this bowl is filled with nutrient dense ingredients, it's allllllll good. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป ๐Ÿ˜Ž Happy Tuesday babes! โœŒ๐Ÿปโค๏ธ

I'M BACK! ๐Ÿค—๐Ÿค—๐Ÿค— (and this was today's lunch๐Ÿ˜‹)! Been away for 2.5 weeks and it was AMAZING! I spent the time disconnected from the digital world and connecting with those I love ๐Ÿ’•. I explored new beautiful places ๐ŸŒ…, new interesting people ๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿผ๐Ÿšถ๐Ÿพ, and new delicious flavors ๐Ÿ˜‹. And it was all amazing ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿป. To be honest, I didn't want to come home. But then there's something about New York that just feels right. Getting back into a routine, seeing friends, and just walking the familiar streets genuinely puts a smile on my face. So here's to being home. ๐Ÿ˜Š HAPPY MONDAY LOVES โœŒ๐Ÿปโค๏ธ PS- People watching the eclipse have been so nice! Two different people offered me their glasses! ๐Ÿ˜Ž I โค๏ธ NY.

Lunch on day 1 of vaca ain't half bad. ๐Ÿ˜‹ Walked into a buffet of delicious and healthy salads, a Spanish omelet ๐Ÿณ, gazpacho ๐Ÿ…, Spanish sardines, fish tacos, and zoodles with sauce. So much to choose from!!! ๐Ÿ˜ฑ Buffets can be a dangerous place for overeating. ๐Ÿ™ŠMy move: take a little of everything, fill up my plate, and don't go for seconds...cuz who knows what there will be for dessert? ๐Ÿ˜œ๐Ÿ’๐Ÿผ

Leaving on vaca for 2.5 weeks ๐Ÿค—๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿปwhich means lunch today = me cleaning out my fridge. ๐Ÿฅ— In my bowl: @organicgirl baby kale, pasture raised organic ๐Ÿณ seasoned with @maldonsalt sea salt, chili flake, and black pepper, topped with 1/4 ๐Ÿฅ‘, tomato, a piece of smoked salmon, my leftover vegan pesto (recipe on the blog! ๐Ÿ’ป), and @jonathanssprouts organic munchin mix. It was DELISH ๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ’ฏThe bonus? Dreaming of yesterday's epic brunch at @twohandsnyc in TriBeCa. Got the brassica bowl with beet cured salmon and it was ๐Ÿ’ฏ. I may or may not be thinking ๐Ÿ’ญ about how to recreate this dish at home so I can have it whenever I want it! ๐Ÿ˜›Stay tuned...and happy Monday loves! โœŒ๐Ÿปโค๏ธ

Is it weird to top your toast with peanut butter and yogurt? ๐Ÿฅœ + ๐ŸฆBc I did, and I loved it! โค๏ธ๐Ÿ’ฏโค๏ธBut then again, I'm kind of a weirdo. ๐Ÿ’๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ™ƒ Seriously tho, there's something about the nutty and tangy flavor combo that works, so I highly recommend you try it! No, I did not make this salad. But yes, I ate it and it was delicious! ๐Ÿ’๐ŸผFun fact: I used to HATE anchovies, ๐Ÿ˜–but then I realized that if I cut them into smaller pieces and mix them into a salad, they actually add a really nice saltiness to every bite! ๐Ÿ˜‹Plus, they are FULL of omega3 fats and are a really sustainable fish option. ๐ŸŸ๐Ÿ’ฏ๐Ÿ So you're not only keeping your body healthy ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿป but you're also helping to take care of this beautiful world that we live in. ๐ŸŒŽ Happy Thursday my dears! โœŒ๐Ÿปโค๏ธ

This is the foundation of working in a kitchen and it seriously makes cooking a breeze. ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿป ๐Ÿ˜ŽI'll be honest, sometimes when I cook, I'm all over the place ๐Ÿ™†๐Ÿผand my kitchen looks like a tornado passed through. ๐ŸŒช๐ŸŒช๐ŸŒชBut when I'm good about prepping everything before I get to the cooking, it makes the whole process so much more organized and enjoyable.๐Ÿ˜ŠJust a little tip from my kitchen to yours. โœŒ๐Ÿปโค๏ธ

Guys, this rain is legit. (I am currently soaked from walking a block because I don't believe in umbrellas ๐Ÿ’ฆโ˜”๏ธ and wasn't in the mood to wear a raincoat. Oh well! ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿผโ€โ™€๏ธ) Anyway, point is, rainy days call for a comforting bowl of creamy blueberry oats and buckwheat, and that is exactly what I had for breakfast this morning. ๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป Extra delicious because I used my blueberries from my @rusticrootsdelivery CSA and extra nutritious because I added in some egg whites for that protein boost. ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘Š๐ŸปHave an awesome Friday โœŒ๐Ÿปโค๏ธand stay dry...or don't, like me! ๐Ÿ’๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ˜œ
