The place is small and charming and the food is bold, creative and bursting with flavor. πŸ˜‹βš‘οΈThis is the eggplant menemen which is basically an eggplant version of shakshuka, which was basically delicious! πŸ³πŸ†πŸŒΆ Activity recommendation for after? Back in NYC from my mini-moon and dreaming of eating this poke bowl on the beach. 🐠 🍣 🏝😎 It’s been a while since I’ve posted because in all honesty, I got engaged πŸ’ πŸ₯‚ in August and wanted to make an effort to really be present and soak up every moment of the wedding planning process. πŸ‘°πŸ’•πŸ€΅ I’m still making a concerted effort to stay mindful and present πŸ™πŸ»πŸ’†πŸΌ but now that the wedding is over I’m so excited to get back into giving you all the healthy eating πŸ₯— 🍏🌢 and fitness πŸ’ͺ🏻 πŸ’¦ inspo to keep you motivated!

You know what they don't have in Spain or Greece? Poke!!! Which means I had to visit @wisefishpoke today to get my fix. 🐟 And it was fantastic!!! πŸ’― Their fish is so fresh πŸ˜‹, their toppings are on point πŸ‘ŒπŸ», and I love that I can do 1/2 zoodles and 1/2 seasonal chop for my base to mix things up a bitπŸŒͺ. And yes, I get the large because I am one hungry gal, and since this bowl is filled with nutrient dense ingredients, it's allllllll good. πŸ‘πŸ» 😎 Happy Tuesday babes! ✌🏻❀️

I'M BACK! πŸ€—πŸ€—πŸ€— (and this was today's lunchπŸ˜‹)! Been away for 2.5 weeks and it was AMAZING! I spent the time disconnected from the digital world and connecting with those I love πŸ’•. I explored new beautiful places πŸŒ…, new interesting people πŸ’ƒπŸΌπŸšΆπŸΎ, and new delicious flavors πŸ˜‹. And it was all amazing πŸ™ŒπŸ». To be honest, I didn't want to come home. But then there's something about New York that just feels right. Getting back into a routine, seeing friends, and just walking the familiar streets genuinely puts a smile on my face. Lunch on day 1 of vaca ain't half bad. πŸ˜‹ Walked into a buffet of delicious and healthy salads, a Spanish omelet 🍳, gazpacho πŸ…, Spanish sardines, fish tacos, and zoodles with sauce. So much to choose from!!! 😱 Buffets can be a dangerous place for overeating. πŸ™ŠMy move: take a little of everything, fill up my plate, and don't go for seconds...cuz who knows what there will be for dessert? πŸ˜œπŸ’πŸΌ

Leaving on vaca for 2.5 weeks πŸ€—πŸ™ŒπŸ»which means lunch today = me cleaning out my fridge. πŸ₯— In my bowl: @organicgirl baby kale, pasture raised organic 🍳 seasoned with @maldonsalt sea salt, chili flake, and black pepper, topped with 1/4 πŸ₯‘, tomato, a piece of smoked salmon, my leftover vegan pesto (recipe on the blog! πŸ’»), and @jonathanssprouts organic munchin mix. It was DELISH πŸ˜‹πŸ’―The bonus? No food going to waste over here! πŸ™…πŸΌHappy Thursday my loves! ✌🏻❀️ PS - let's pray that the weather holds up so that my flight actually takes off! ✈️ ✈️✈️

Is it weird to top your toast with peanut butter and yogurt? πŸ₯œ + 🍦Bc I did, and I loved it! β€οΈπŸ’―β€οΈBut then again, I'm kind of a weirdo. πŸ’πŸΌπŸ™ƒ Seriously tho, there's something about the nutty and tangy flavor combo that works, so I highly recommend you try it! No, I did not make this salad. But yes, I ate it and it was delicious! πŸ’πŸΌFun fact: I used to HATE anchovies, πŸ˜–but then I realized that if I cut them into smaller pieces and mix them into a salad, they actually add a really nice saltiness to every bite! πŸ˜‹Plus, they are FULL of omega3 fats and are a really sustainable fish option. πŸŸπŸ’―πŸ So you're not only keeping your body healthy πŸ’ͺ🏻 but you're also helping to take care of this beautiful world that we live in. 🌎 Happy Thursday my dears! ✌🏻❀️
