✨Melt in your mouth Grilled Ribeye topped with a scallion & herbs compound butter & A side of potatoes that where parboiled then grilled with the steak. First I seasoned the steak with salt and pepper. Then a splash of tamari or soy sauce, Worcestershire, and a bit of yellow mustard ( trust me) a splash of your favorite hot sauce which is optional. Rub it in! Just marinate till meat comes to room temp about 15 min... if you’d like to marinate longer just don’t add the salt till prior to cooking it.

Atayef or Qatayef I pronounce it both ways... either way it’s delicious. A middle eastern type of pancake stuffed with either a sweet cheese or a walnut mixture. I’ve even stuffed them with Nutella before. Have fun with it! ♦️RECIPE AS FOLLOWS♦️ . ▫️2 Cups Fine Semolina. ▫️1 Cup of All Purpose Flour. ▫️3 & 1/2 Cups of warm water. ▫️2 Tbsp of sugar. ▫️1 & 1/2 Tbsp of baking powder. ▫️1/2 of tsp baking soda. ▫️1/2 of tsp of mahleb (optional) ▫️a couple of pieces of mistaka (mastic) also optional. ( I did use both) . 🔺in a blender blend the water and sugar well 🔺then slowly add the semolina. 🔺then add the flour ( keep blending) 🔺Add the rest of the ingredients. Let it all mix thoroughly. The batter should be like pancake mix but thinner. If it’s too thick add a little water at a time. If it’s too thin add a little flour at a time. 🔺you can let it sit for several minutes or use immediately. I used it immediately. 🔺heat up a griddle or a pan... cook it like a pancake but only on one side. Take it out of the pan let it cool for a minute bubbles side up... and continue making more...once the others are made and slightly cooled down face the bubbles side down on top of another one facing up... so they don’t dry out. ( both bubbly sides meet) 🔺then stuff with chopped walnut+cinnamon+sugar mixture or sweet cheese. 🔺pinch them together to make half circles. 🔺You can bake or lightly fry them in a little butter or ghee. 🔺Then immediately dip them into cold Qatar ( simple syrup which is flavored with rose water or orange blossom and a squeeze of lemon juice ... for every 1 cup of sugar use 1/2 cup of water.) sidenote- I did add an extra pinch of baking powder. Also can be made vegan use coconut oil to pan fry or bake. ENJOY!
