Northern Warriors Lacrosse  Under 15 Victorian State representative state team, taking on the Australian under 15 national championships

Thank you to all the top age boys and good luck in the future for the rest of your lacrosse careers, we are so proud of the contribution that you have made to the warriors program. To the younger boys, good luck next year and beyond as you get to put that orange and black on again and fight for another chance at some glory.
Once a warrior always a warrior!!! ⚔️⚔️⚔️

FINALS ROUND - Northern Warriors VS New Zealand
After getting over the fact of a bit of deja Vu of playing NZ for the second day in a row. The boys got off to a slowish start and the kiwis took advantage with a 3-3 tie at half time before taking the lead in the 3rd quarter. That was the wake up call the boys needed where they went on a 7-1 goal scoring run that put an end to kiwis fight. The result was a good finish to a tournament that the boys can be extremely proud off. Even through the results didn’t fall our way early we finished off the tournament well and can be happy with the strides that this warriors group had taken in this years nationals tournament.

Congratulations to # 8 Finn Gordon for getting MVP in our 10-4 win over New Zealand

ROUND 9 - Northern Warriors VS New Zealand

Round 9 the Northern Warriors take on New Zealand

Round 8 - Northern Warriors VS Phantoms
In our only match up of the day, it was the Warriors up against the strong defensive Phantoms team. The Warriors boys started extremely well and were patient with the ball in the offensive area. This led to them jumping out to a nice comfortable lead behind some excellent offensive display that consisted of a lot of possession and careful reading of the play. The boys didn’t stop there and continued to take advantage of the possession battle all day with our face off boys getting us first use of the ball. In the second half it was more of the same with the boys really killing off the game with prolonged possession that was patient and waited for the holes and lanes to appear in the defense. It was a complete game from the warriors who have at times fallen down in critical moments but not today as the boys ran out 11-4 winners.

Congratulations to # 3 Ethan McKenzie for getting MVP in our outstanding round 8 game against Phantoms

ROUND 8 - Northern Warriors VS Phantoms

Round 6 - Northern Warriors VS Hurricanes
For the second game of day we played the Victorian hurricanes. The boys started faster and sustained it for the whole game Showing that the hard work they have put in other games can translate against anyone. Warriors finished off the game 14-1 winners to get our first win of the tournament.

Congratulations to our MVP # 17 Lucas Hope Rojas in our round 6 match against the Hurricanes
