I have been having a little contemplation. Maybe I have enough stuff to get by. I generally do not wear designer stuff but
I do buy more than I needed.
So I am thinking of not buying more clothings, bags and shoes for myself for 6 months.
Yes 6 months is a babystep indeed, but hey detoxing can't start hardcore 😬
Purchasing beauty stuff such as skincare, makeup, fragrances is harder to stop for me as they affect my mood more (feel good when applying make up and fragrance really set my mood) plus it wont be healthy nor hygienic not to replace some of your make up 😋
but I am working on it and really cherry picking especially with Make UP.
Now, back at it
I do not mind repeating my outfit. It feels like I make use the most of them. Some more pros: - Save up for more important things
- STORAGE wont be a pain
- Easier to locate stuff
- Less time to think of what to wear everyday
- Environmentally more friendly
Anyone can have different objectives but these are mine.
I have heard a story that someone managed to do this before and they succeeded and content! So fingers crossed
I might have to hold my breath when there's irresistible things being on display BUT lets give it a go
It would be great if anyone would love to join me of course 😊. We can share how we go about daily and remind each other that it is possible to go on without buying new outfit.
YOU MAY BE SURPRISED to find stuff you forgot you have or have not worn (enough) in you stash.
Please let me know if you are interested!
Nevertheless, I will proceed and now digging through my existing clothes and accessories!
