Nothing like amazing girlfriends. Thank you @ninabarniehblair for the most beautiful flowers at a time I really needed a little pick me up. And for the amazing support this week @ginabonjersey @shell_sparks @midwifeblee @audreyneustadter #grateful

Yep, definitely my son.

One of the things I love about living upstate are the beautiful country roads. Any time one of the wee ones won't sleep, pack em up in the car and hit the road. Today we made a quick stop in Rhinebeck to see the lovely Kerry @waddlenswaddle, then headed up to Hudson (so many cute shops & restaurants), then over to Catskills to @gracies_ny (closed for the day 😩), back down to Germantown for lunch at @ottos_market (such a great spot & everyone is so sweet), and then back home. Adrian slept for 3hrs & I got to enjoy the drive & all the lovely people along the way. #parentingwin

These two! A beautiful Indian Summer day at the park. Missing Jasper @midwifeblee @dougalanlee @bobjogo @alexisvli

Happy almost weekend, lovelies! If you have shelves in your home that could use some sprucing up, here's some inspiration to turn them into a statement area that showcases your interests in a stylish way. First, clear them off completely. It's tempting to work with what you have but it's better to look at them with a fresh set of eyes. Gather your favorite books, objects, photos and begin to play around with them! Use this photo as inspiration and get creative with your own objects. We'd love to see what you come up with. Take a before and after photo and tag me. I would love to see how you transform your space! I've tagged a few of my favorite go-to vendors for small styling pieces xx #ellevest #interiorstyling #bookcase #interiordesign #interiordecorating

At least once a day...sometimes all day. #babysnuggless

All week, I've been trying (and failing) to get to the grocery store. Adrian's at the height of 6 wks fussiness. Mamas, you know what I'm talking about. But today we succeeded. Walking around grabbing groceries as fast as I could, I felt like everyone at the grocery store should have been giving me high fives for even making it there. Happy 6wks peanut! Thanks for keeping it real. ✋✋

Hi, lovelies! I am starting a new weekly post series on Thursdays to share some of my favorite tips and tricks! My goal is that you'll be inspired and see how easy it can be to make little changes that make your space feel more beautiful and/or functional. This week I want to show you how mixing textures, colors, and materials can create a fun mix that's really unique! Don't be afraid to play around and mix things up! It will add visual interest and balance. The important thing is if you love a piece, go for it! At the end of the day, it's your space and it should reflect you and your unique style. @ellevest #TipThursday #interiorstyling #interiordesign #interiordecorating #ninastyling

Heart melting. Avery has been such an amazing big brother. Any frustrations with changes in our house has been rightfully taken out on Shawn and I. Nothing but love for his little bro.

Mother of dudes.

Happy Saturday!! As another weekend rolls around, I wanted to introduce another fun project you may be able to make time for! Incorporating photos into your home is a fun way to make a statement while keeping things personal! A photo gallery wall is the perfect way to utilize multiple photos while making a statement and showcasing so many memories! It's best to start with a large wall that doesn't have too much going on. For this project we decided to go with the same frame in different sizes. Depending on your taste and what you have available don't be afraid to mix up the styles and sizes. Play around with the placement until it feels right! I'd love to see how yours turns out! xx #interiorstyling #photoframe #interiordesign #interiordecorating

Another photo from last week's lovely Brooklyn home. Here I designed a custom banquette in the Kitchen eating area that's simple, stylish & functional. We chose a timeless blue striped indoor/outdoor fabric from Perennials so it would hold up better with kids, food, and an accidental spilled glass of wine. Tres chic, non? xx
