Combining innovative design and ground-breaking #NIKKOR technology, Nikon created the AF-S NIKKOR 300mm f/4E PF ED VR, a telephoto lens that delivers unparalleled optical performance in a compact form.

The Phase Fresnel (PF) lens element is Nikon’s very own innovation for dramatically reducing chromatic aberration by utilising the photo diffraction phenomenon in comparison to the common photorefractive phenomenon. This element also allows the build of an outstandingly lightweight lens body without compromising quality.
The result? A vivid depiction of a stage performance captured with precision despite the low lights, as seen here with a performer from The House of Dancing Water by professional commercial photographer, Emil Tse.

The toucan’s bright-coloured beak may seem like it stands out a lot; however, it actually provides the toucan with excellent camouflage in the rainforest. @NikonMEA photographer @chithraunni managed to spot and photograph this cute toucan in its habitat.

After waiting patiently by the lake at Khao Yai National Park, @NikonThailand photographer @smith_sutibut encountered this Siamese crocodile quietly swimming nearby. Although it may seem threatening, it is actually the crocodile itself that is threatened. Due to habitat degradation, Siamese crocodiles are now classified as critically endangered. They serve as a reminder that we need to take care of our environment and protect all species that live within it.
