Niki Csányi I NY • LA  Followed my wanderlust from Hungary to NYC and now to LA. Where's next? Travel, food & lifestyle photographer. www.nikicsanyi.com 📍Bolivia

This Peruvian lady heating up water on her wood-burning stove to wash alpaca hair that she will later on spun into wool for hand-woven beautiful blankets.

Nature's beautiful artwork at Maras, Peru.
The first time I saw a photo of Maras was about a year ago while making a mood board for a client. I was so mesmerized by the place that I saved it on my bucket list map, but didn't really think I may make it here. Now a year later I'm here and this place is absolutely special and I'm feeling thankful for being able to travel.

I took this photo two mornings ago, just right before packing began. Now our apartment is completely empty and we are getting ready to hand over the keys to begin a new adventure...our home will sail through the Pacific & Atlantic oceans and in about a month we will meet it in ______.
A little more suspense and I will tell you where :) But before our final move, we are heading to South America for a two week trip which should be super fun, so stay tuned!

Downtown covered in golden evening dust

Stopped by my favorite San Diego coffee shop for an iced coffee because it's like a 100 degrees outside. Who says summer is about to end?!

I have a thing for warehouses (especially when they're pink)

Found this neighborhood gem last night.
I always wanted to own a classic car. A classy one like a white 1962 Mercedes 230SL with red leather interior, or a red 1965 Alfa Romeo Giulia Spider convertible. Driving down the CA coast with the top down, wouldn't it be nice?! What would be your classic car pick?

The prettiest morning light with my morning coffee. Seriously in love with this place.

All about that POP life 😝

Late summer feels ✨

Feels like spring time up here tonight 🌸

It's been exactly a month that I posted here on IG. This time away was neither intentional, nor planned. I just felt like I didn't want to post for posting's sake unless I had something meaningful to say. And honestly I didn't have much to say for a while, and that is completely ok. To me photography's always been an exciting challenge and a way of appreciating life a little more. With social media it often becomes 'chasing content' and that's not what I intend to do. So I am back but not to add to the pile of influencer content, but to find fulfillment and share something meaningful when I can :)
