(Please swipe and read!) In June, my brave cousin Holly gave birth to conjoined twin girls, Rosie and Molly. Their birth defied all odds and while their future was uncertain, there was so much joy and relief and love that they were here, healthy and beautiful.
A couple weeks later, Rosie developed NEC and an emergency separation was vital to save Molly from Rosie’s condition. Holly and Jeremy said goodbye to their sweet Rosie a few short hours later. Rosie’s life helped save Molly and Molly is continuing her fight. Molly is home from the NICU and focusing on breathing and gaining weight.
I was with these babies on the day of their birth and through Rosie’s final breaths and the amount of love from family, her parents, the nurses, doctors and medical staff was overwhelmingly beautiful through this devastating turn.
A benefit concert and silent auction @creativeartsacademy_utah to honor Rosie and give hope to Molly will be this Saturday, Dec 2 at 7pm at Viewmont High School. There is also a link in my profile for anyone who would like to give the Robinsons some support. Anything is appreciated. Thank you. 💕
