AM TIPS For The Lat Pull Down... For posture and strength gains.
This (bad) demo shows exaggerated curved shoulders and pulling the bar too far forward which are very common with this exercise.
Here's a few tips:
1. Pick a weight which Is not too heavy so you can get your form right first.
2. Depress your shoulder blades before you start the pulling motion. This will ensure your back muscles are going to work to move the bar, rather than just the momentum.
3. Pull your elbows down and into your body as you squeeze your back at the bottom. (You can pull them back a little too if it helps you to engage your back more)
4. Keep a neutral spine and think about looking up with your eyes rather than your head.
5. Pull the bar towards the top of your chest (get your chest to meet the bar)
6. Try not to grip the bar too tight... this may exhaust your forearms and stop your back from working as it should be.

Built me a little bicep for #flexfriday πŸ’ͺ🏽 ... I spent 10-11 months trying to build muscle mass to prepare for he @wbff_official worlds Fitness category... this meant more calories (so more doughnuts) while hitting a daily protein intake ... it also meant working hard to progress in my weight sessions, no cardio (out of choice for me) AND it also meant I put on some body fat (which I found hard to commit too, not going to lie)

Glute Bridges primarily work the Glutes but they also work the core if done correctly.
Here's some Tips: πŸ’œ Keep feet flat and push through your heels at all times πŸ’œ Keep your upper body and neck as relaxed as possible imagining your Glutes are moving you up and down
πŸ’œ Tuck and squeeze your Glutes at the top (imagine your pelvis wants to meet your belly button) rather than just pushing your hips up high (this will avoid the lower back taking over and keep your core working)
Once you have this movement pattern corrected you can do so many variations.
