This week's #RoleModelMonday is 13-year old entrepreneur Asia Newson who started her own company, Super Business Girl, when she was just 5 years old! Newson, following in her father's footsteps, began selling candles. Because she had such great success with her candle business, she created a workshop for junior high and high school students who want to become "youth-preneurs". Her workshops gained so much traction, she caught the attention of Ellen DeGeneres, which allowed her to raise funds for needy children in her Detroit neighborhood. When asked about her future, Newson explains that she will, "first be the mayor of Detroit. No, first I'm going to be a lawyer, after I study law and stuff in college. And then I'm going to be mayor of Detroit, and then I'm going to be president of the United States- but I'm still going to be expanding my business." Be on the lookout for her in the Oval Office! Keep dreaming big Asia!
