Watching practice, breaking down the team huddle, behind the scenes tour of the stadium, lunch in the team cafeteria, Battle Red jerseys....this will be a day to remember for the seniors and coaches of Sabine Pass High School who’s football season was cancelled due to a depleted roster from injuries and Hurricane Harvey. #TexansCare #footballisfamily (via @texanscare)

In the first Blue Friday Night Lights of the 2018 season, we visited Snoqualmie, Washington, just under 30 miles east of the city. The night featured a clash of Top 10 high school football teams, the No. 9 ranked Woodinville Falcons and the host, No. 2 Mt. Si Wildcats.

Sold out Mt. Si High School Stadium was full of fans, both young and old, and provided the perfect setting for a night of competition, community and school spirit. On this night, Mt. Si prevailed 27-17, holding off a strong late challenge from Woodinville.

The night brought the sounds of football, cheering, drum lines, and community. We had a blast sharing this Blue Friday Night with the football community here in the Great Pacific Northwest. #BFNL (via @seahawks)
