Catching up time. Day 10 of #AYearOfYoga2018 with @cyogalab brought 1 leg #Crow or #EkaPadaBakasana.
Love this pose, and to flow with it as well. Right side is more shy but it tries its best ๐Ÿ˜ Last year I canโ€™t really remember where I was exactly but entering it and coming out of it was not smooth, and now I hold them for longer, even though it varies with the side.

If I go on my tippy toes I feel I can bring my legs more inwards; as soon as feet are flat itโ€™s a different story ๐Ÿ˜ This is a Pose I get and lose depending on how much I work on shoulder or heart openers. Last year I worked on hollowbacks a lot so wheel felt easier.

I was never able to do splits when I was younger. Years of gymnastics at school didnโ€™t get me there either ๐Ÿ˜
I can honestly say this is the closest to the floor I have ever been. I said last week Iโ€™m not very good at keeping photos for progress tracking (I keep them, theyโ€™re just not categorised or organised ๐Ÿ˜‚) but I can definitely feel all that daily work Iโ€™ve been doing all these last few months with @dylanwerneryogaโ€™s True Flexibility plan @codyapp ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ Time on my mat is what does it.

Tried both mod pose via @gmcyoga and actual one via @cyogalab. I think my non-bound leg was not in the correct position and I made it harder for myself ๐Ÿ™ˆ

I tried to enter this pose in a different way this time and then realised I seem to be way too high ๐Ÿค”๐Ÿ˜… My right leg/side feels completely different as my hip is less open. However, I didnโ€™t rely on my โ€˜freeโ€™ arm for a change, because of entering it in a different way, which felt awesome.

I did a narrow and wide version here. Narrow is just outside my mat; head is quite far still. Wider version on my mat feels deeper than last year. Head is on mat when fully warm, arms feel lower. Hereโ€™s to progress.
