It is very difficult to summarize my friend @aprilrinne in words. I tried photography to summarize her but clearly could not succeed :)) She is an advisor, guide and thought leader in the sharing economy. Within the sharing economy, her main areas of focus are what it means for cities, policymakers, the future of travel and tourism, and emerging markets.
She is also a Young Global Leader at the World Economic Forum, where she leads the Sharing Economy Working Group and serve on the Global Futures Council on Mobility and the Urbanization advisory board. She serves on the Advisory Boards for Seoul, Amsterdam and the National League of Cities.
Her portfolio includes teaching policymakers from more than three dozen developing countries and advising numerous social enterprises including Kiva, Grameen and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
A J.D. from Harvard Law School, M.A. in International Finance and Business Relations from the Fletcher School, B.A. summa cum laude in International Studies and Italian from Emory University. Fulbright Scholar at the European University Institute. Visiting scholar at Oxford University.
She speaks Italian bene, Spanish bien, French un petit peu, and Dutch and Kiswahili.. Above all, she loves doing handstands around the world -- hence my upside-down views on many things!
