I jump at every opportunity to spend time with women! This week I served on a panel with @audreyjezigbo @ceceliaumeron @mazichidiokoro at @lbsnigeria focused on women rising in the workplace. We had a frank discussion about the gains that have been made and the challenges that still abound. Great insights on the definition of success, likeability, power and influence, mentorship and sponsorship and balance. I am convinced that both genders must rise together for Africa to truly achieve its highest potential

Today we celebrated the 250th edition of the Fidelity SME Forum. Five years of engaging with amazing entrepreneurs and thought leaders from across Nigeria who have inspired us all. First, I have to give all glory to God for His favor and grace. When @fidelitysmes @fidelitybankplc tracked me down for this role, I was honored but also totally surprised because I was not a recognized OAP! God alone deserves all the Glory for unmerited favor. Second, thank you to the amazing Fidelity leadership and team. The MD/CEO Mr. Nnamdi Okonkwo @nnamdiokonkwo is a rockstar! Ken Opara @oparaken Mr. SME himself is simply amazing. Of course @anenetc @chiomabbb make every Tuesday a delight. Third, I must recognize Mr. Martin Udogie who started the show with me. A seasoned journalist, he gave so much of himself to the show in its early years. Fourth, I celebrate all of the amazing entrepreneurs who have shared their stories on the show and have inspired us all. God bless you!!!

While some of you were.watching the royal wedding...some of us were volunteering for @wale.adenuga's mentoring breakfast. I thorougjly enjoyed meeting some amazing young people with passion and vision. They have such bright futures. #2018yplagos

My week started with a two-day conference in Abuja focused on the yam value chain, where I spoke about @sahelconsulting and our work in this critical sector. Yesterday, I served as the keynote speaker for the third annual TAMS Summit focused on "Making Nigeria Work." I was really impressed with Mr. Afolabi Abiodun @sbtelecoms and his team's vision and passion for time management and productivity.
Two key lessons from the week:
1. Find creative and strategic ways to retain your customers by engaging with their staff at all levels. The TAMS Ambassadors are employees of client organizations who use the attendance and productivity products developed by @sbtelecoms. By recognizing these employees and giving the exceptional ones all expense paid trips to Dubai, the company is definitely building customer loyalty... 2. If it is not documented, it did not happen. This is my new mantra for my teams.

Thank God it is Friday!!!

It is that time of the year when I travel many miles for Board meetings. However, it is always a delight to spend quality time with.the Board and management team of Godrej Consumer Products! 115 years of values-driven leadership and amazing products. The design and innovation teams are amazing. @gcpldesignlab Watch out for the new innovations and product introductions under the @darling @megagrow and @strengthofnature brands. @godrej_group. #proudboardmember #generationalbusiness #youareonlyasgoodaswhatyoudonext.

Celebrating a great man @ 50. @pastorpoju thank you for your life of service, humility, commitment to excellence and servant leadership. Thank you for making your walk and work all about Jesus and not about you. My family and I have been so blessed by our engagement with @covenantccentre. A special shout out to our darling @toyinpoyemade who is God's special gift to you and our world. May God continue to raise you both up and bless you with peace, joy and love.

Excellent speeches today. Key messages. We must end our "learned helplessness," our "culture of managing" and actively engage in the political system. We must register to vote, become polling buddies by engaging others to vote, get involved in the process to ensure that the right candidates engage, and hold politicians accountable. We must be nation builders and engage our youth to be solution providers. We must read, understand and utilize our Constitution! We must utilize our natural assets as a nation to create a competitive advantage.

So proud to stand with @aacefoods_ng at the @gtbank #gtbankfooddrink. Every year keeps getting bigger. We had all of our signature spices and food made in the Aace kitchen. @aacefoods_ng also launched some new products. Check out our Beans Flour and Soyamaize as well as our snack line!!! Thrilled by the support of friends and family that stopped by. Please visit our stand tomorrow and on May 1st.

This weekend we celebrated great men. On Sunday, @leapafrica celebrated Mr. Ayeni, of @tantalizersng who served on the LEAP Board for over 10 years and recently turned 70 and Mr. Udeme Ufot of @so&u our Board chair who turned 60!! These two men love Nigeria deeply and have lived lives of service. They also have amazing women as their life partners and we celebrated them as well.
On Saturday, I spent the day with the dear Ukwu family as they laid their darling father Prof. Ukwu I Ukwu to rest. What a great husband, father and leader!!! He was married to his dear wife for over 50 years and they danced, recited poetry and sang to.each other for the duration of their maŕriage. Prof was such a committed and loving father to his biological children and countless others. Their home was filled with so much love and joy..rooted in strong ethical.values. I went to nursery, primary and secondary school with his children and today our own children are friends. What a great legacy!!! So inspired by the lives of these men...may we raise our sons to be great husbands, fathers and leaders.

Great start to my Tuesday with @losheschocolate on @fidelitysmes @ifm92.3. I love chocolates...and @losheschocolate is sooooo yummy. @Femioyedipe inspired us all with her knowledge of the cocoa industry and opportunities to create value using locally sourced cocoa beans. I cannot wait to watch this brand grow!!! And yes, I will be visiting the chocolate factory in Lekki. Thank you @chiomabbb and @anenetc for keeping us on track every Tuesday!!!

#Grandmagoals!!! As we celebrated Mummy Enelamah's 80th birthday yesterday, I was touched by the testimonies of how against all odds she raised nine exceptional children who all love God and work for Him in some capacity!!! I have observed her for over 20 years and her humility, consistent walk with God and devotion to prayer have been so evident. So I am setting some Grandma goals...and learning from Mama Enelamah!!! Well done to her amazing children for celebrating her in such a classy way. #thanksgivingservice. @aimpnetwork @johnenelamah @okeyenelamah
