First run outside since my injury nearly 15 weeks ago, and who better to run with than my girls. This was very special and I missed them so much. 🎈
This journey back to recovery has been hard and slow. Much harder and slower than I ever imagined. Even going to PT 3x a week, my body has lost a lot of good things, and gained some bad. My endurance is nearly completely shot. But I believe that sometimes in order to make ourselves even greater than we were before, we must start from scratch. So here we go.
I have officially begun training for the Bronx 10 Mile (9/24), and the Staten Island Half (10/8). Wish me luck! 🏃🏻♀️💥
