Grandmother and Granddaughter. Generations. Age. Time. Beauty. I have often thought that the our ‘age’ should be more appropriately called a ‘chapter’...rather than how old you are, more like what chapter of life are you on? Regardless, the time is now and constantly ticking that is for sure. 🌏

Greetings from Arunachal Pradesh, India, right on the border of Bhutan and Tibet. My daughter @lilliana_libecki and I are here with an amazing crew at the Jhamtse Gatsal Children’s Community, (also known as The Garden of Love and Compassion) on a big humanitarian expedition, installing solar power, a computer lab, internet and hundreds of other supplies from shoes to musical instruments in hopes of bettering education and quality of life. In a world where we can be and do anything, be kind and do good! Stay tuned for more photos and stories here as this journey unfolds or check out Nat Geo Explorer @mikelibecki for more...

Video: @coreyrichproductions | Mountaineering is often sensationalized in the media as a perpetual battle between life and death. But the truth is, so much of it is just placing one foot in front of the other.

Photo by @andy_best // I spent some time wandering around a small farm off the North coast last night. This shot was taken just after 10pm last night and the light was amazing! It's been surreal being able to participate in Scotland's, Right to Roam law, and explore places like this. It's made me think a lot about the US and the exact opposite approach. I think there should be a reevaluation of our thinking and handling of giant swaths of private land. Anyhow, I'm off to explore and contemplate more. Enjoy friends!

Photographer @grant_gunderson captured @vero_francky checking out Foroglio falls in the Ticino canton of Switzerland. With a drop of over 80 meters the falls are a natural air conditioner in the only region of Switzerland with palm trees.

Photo by @bertiegregory. Half way into our 6-day sail to the Island of South Georgia in the South Atlantic Ocean, we were treated to this epic double rainbow. We all felt very lucky and very small as we bobbed about the waves in a 50ft sailboat over 400 miles from land. Filming for a new online series for National Geographic coming later this year. Follow @bertiegregory for more wildlife adventures.

Photo by @michaelclarkphoto // A stormy day over the Patagonia Ice Cap just behind Cerro Fitz Roy on the border between Argentina and Chile. Technically this was shot from the Chilean hut on the ice cap. We took a day off here to let the weather pass by before continuing down the ice cap. #chile #argentina #patagoniaicecap #patagoniaicefield

Video by @renan_ozturk @sanctityofspace film collection - my ongoing passion feature doc project with @freddiewilkinson // In 1937 Brad Washburn and Bob Bates summited Mt Lucania, one of the most remote mountains in North America. The adventure was one of the greatest climbing survival stories of all time. Stay tuned @sanctityofspace film for more!

Photo by @MartinEdstrom. Can you spot the expedition members, walking uphill into the light? Walking through Son Doong, the largest cave in the world, you pass through two gigantic sinkholes where actual forests grow, deep underground.

Follow @MartinEdstrom for more remote exploration

Photographer @grant_gunderson captured riders @carstonoliver and @bricycles riding in Verbier Switzerland where they were treated to amazing alpine views. @grant_gunderson is heading back to Switzerland this week to check out the Ticino region. Where is your favorite summer adventure spot?
