We got up early, drove to a mountain, stood in the cold, had a laugh, made fun of each other & then took some generic photos (I should rephrase, I made Hana take some generic photos, haha) yes it was beautiful up there, but, the Truth is The world only sees this one single moment. That’s instagram I guess.. but it’s not really life, not at all.
Behind every photo there is a story, a person, a conversation, a struggle and a search for something much greater then this and what this image fails to represent, if this image was representing anything at all.
The question I posed to my friend as we made our way back down the mountain was this. What is the current kingdom we are living in and consider ourselves citizens of? And How is the kingdom of God that Jesus presented some 2,000 years ago so radically different. That’s the conversation I wish you were all there for.
That was the best part. The part that can’t be captured. The part that’s actually real, the part that’s actually important.
