Are you able to stand alone?
Are you willing to set yourself apart? If the majority of the people you know choose to follow the downward stream of society would you be willing to fight against the tide?
If this wilderness represented the truth in God’s holy word, How far would you actually be willing to venture out in order to discover it?

What Many might see, what even more might simple pass by, A very, very small few will actually commit & go.

I realize most Christian’s today aren’t quite ready to surrender vast majorities of their life. The World teaches us that surrendering is a form of weakness, & if you surrender any part of yourself surely you must be at a loss. But, I never said the world wasn’t a good liar.

Why do I choose to surrender? Why do I choose to venture out into this wilderness seeking God’s word? Well the further my heart moves away from the false offerings of this world, the Louder the voice of Jesus becomes.

What I lose according to the world, I have gained in him. #jesus

My face when I see snow... ATL

Would like to pay my respects to this beautiful young soul. I had the opportunity of meeting her in Rome a few years ago.

Pegah sadly passed away yesterday. She was a huge fan of our show.
My thoughts & prayers are with those who Pegah leaves behind, nothing will replace your loss, no words will lessen the pain.
But today I would like to honor Pegah. Join me in simply leaving a ♥️ on this post in the comment section. Love those who leave before us.

I have been studying the story of Abraham this week. I took this picture at Elon Moreh, it over looks the city of Shechem. Abraham quite possibly walked along this very path according to Genesis 12:6

Abraham was by no means a perfect man, his failures were much like my own in life. Often caused by impatience, fear, Pride, even misdirected energy. Something that is comforting to know is this; God doesn’t call perfect individuals to follow him. If perfection was the requirement then Romans 3:10 would simple disqualify as all.
The world is a wicked place, It was during Abraham’s time & it continues to be wicked today. However, To Abraham’s credit, He did choose to listen to God’s voice & he did choose to follow the path that God had set out for him.
If I’ve learnt anything from today its this, I need to call on my heavenly Fathers voice just as often as I take breathe into my lungs. Listening will lead to surrendering, and surrendering will ensure I follow. (Listen, Surrender & Follow). If you do Take God’s word seriously, if you do take God’s call on your life seriously, then God will change everything about everything.
I’m not perfect, I am not a leader, I am follower of Christ. My prize is simple, to have His presence with me as I walk through this life. That’s all. That’s all any christian should ever want or wish for.

TRUE Faith can only come from TRUE Surrender.
If your surrender to God’s will has only ever been temporary, you can only imagine what your faith may look like - temporal, fleeting, scattered.
The Fence of Faith you’d like to sit on unfortunately doesn’t seem to exist according to Jesus. “Whoever is not with me is against me, and whoever does not gather with me, scatters”

The sower (Jesus) & the seed (the message) is good, the ground (which is you) is what will determine any growth.
How much of your heart are you willing to Give?

Jesus would have sailed past & walked around these landmarks many times as he ministered to this region around the Sea of Galilee.
The Lord’s prayer was first shared around this Sea. It starts with God, “Our father in Heaven”.
It gives praise to his Holy name. That his ways are higher then our ways, that his thoughts are higher our thoughts. “Hallowed be your name”.
It points to his purpose and his program as we pray to surrender ours.
“Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven”. We make a request to God to provide us with our daily needs.
“Give is this day, our daily bread”
We then pray for forgiveness of our shortfalls as we forgive those who do wrong against us.
“And forgive us our debts are we also forgive our debtors”.
Then the final part of the prayer is a a statement of trust & protection against the temptations of this fallen world. “And lead is not into temptation but deliver us from Evil”. You’ll notice that our needs fall right in the middle of the Holiness Of God the Father And the Power of God himself. My note to you -Surround yourself with God, Both his holiness & his authority. “Make whatever I want, what you want, and whatever you want, what I want.” #buzolicphoto #nategeo

You are standing on a small mountain around the sea of Galilee, this is where the sermon on the mount took place. A great crowd had followed Jesus here, and it is here that Jesus would explain how to truly follow him to the Father. These are the character traits of a Christian & The commitments required of a Follower of Christ. Our reputation as believers has been marked by some who have failed to establish the difference between Knowing Jesus & truly following Jesus. These are two very different things and Jesus closes his sermon here with what these two contrasting view points would look like. He explains this four different ways. The two gates, the two trees, the two confessions and the two foundations. This can all be found in Matthew chapters 5, 6 & 7.

Why do I tell you these things? First of all I am so encouraged by the number of people who have been inspired by these posts. However I myself am not inspiring, I haven’t created a better way to live, or a better way to treat people. I have simply chosen to follow what Jesus said. I believe in him, so much so that I want the rest of my life to be about him. (Yes I realize this is not for everyone, and that’s ok, I’m prepared to deal with the criticism that comes with this territory)
But I want everyone to know, I never want my life to point to me as the source of Inspiration, but always be pointing back to Him. He who has forever changed my heart for the better.

I’d like to put it this way to my fellow Christian followers, Don’t drink from the puddle that is me, drink from the river that is Jesus.
Thank you for your uplifting words, thank you for the continued support as we set out to glorify the father and the son, in a way this world is no longer expecting from Christians. To Stand in truth, To walk in love. To The king of kings! Jesus the messiah.

This small Cave on the coast of the Sea of Galilee is located meters away from the site where Jesus spoke the sermon on the mount. I often wonder if Jesus sat here alone or with his disciples and prayed to our Heavenly Father, possibly before speaking to thousands on a hill side. If he did, I shared this space in the same manner in prayer to God the father. “Thus, when you give to the needy, sound no trumpet before you, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may be praised by others. Truly, I say to you, they have received their reward. But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving may be in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you. "And when you pray, you must not be like the hypocrites. For they love to stand and pray in the synagogues and at the street corners, that they may be seen by others. Truly, I say to you, they have received their reward. But when you pray, go into your room and shut the door and pray to your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭6:2-6‬
These are Just some of the words jesus spoke on that day.
Seems to me what you do before God that no man or woman will see is a true testament to who you really are. This is the person the world will never see, this is the person our Heavenly Father has a close eye on.

Praise be to Jesus, the way, the truth, the life. The name above all names.

This wilderness is vast & unforgiving. Alone, you’ll end end up in a deep valley. And in the darkness of that valley, a serpent sits still, lays low, patiently waiting to attack the vulnerable... How do you manage these valleys & mountains? How do you find a safe passage from water well to water well without become a victim, without become utterly lost?

Follow your shepherd’s voice. But to follow his voice, you must know what his voice sounds like. Read what he said and you will know how he sounds. know how he sounds and you will know how to follow.
Do Not listen to the voice of the hired hand who cares not for his sheep, and flees at the first sign of trouble. No, listen to the voice of the true shepherd, the voice of the Good shepherd, the rightful owner of this flock.

Today you may have stumbled away, tonight you may find yourself in a dark valley surrounded by the enemy.
You can’t solve this one alone, because being alone got you here in the first place. Maybe it’s time to follow the good shepherd. His path leads you to the water well you wish you had. Faith. Hope. Peace.
Jesus is my Good shepherd. And the good shepherd is calling to his sheep.
My faith grows when I know his voice. I read my Bible, I study his word. I pray and I worship the father. It’s that simple.
