This small Cave on the coast of the Sea of Galilee is located meters away from the site where Jesus spoke the sermon on the mount. I often wonder if Jesus sat here alone or with his disciples and prayed to our Heavenly Father, possibly before speaking to thousands on a hill side. If he did, I shared this space in the same manner in prayer to God the father. “Thus, when you give to the needy, sound no trumpet before you, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may be praised by others. Truly, I say to you, they have received their reward. But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving may be in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you. "And when you pray, you must not be like the hypocrites. For they love to stand and pray in the synagogues and at the street corners, that they may be seen by others. Truly, I say to you, they have received their reward. But when you pray, go into your room and shut the door and pray to your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you.”
These are Just some of the words jesus spoke on that day.
Seems to me what you do before God that no man or woman will see is a true testament to who you really are. This is the person the world will never see, this is the person our Heavenly Father has a close eye on.
Praise be to Jesus, the way, the truth, the life. The name above all names.
