I read a caption the other day that said “make moves, don’t announce them”
maybe that works for some people but for me, I’m thankful for those that are brave enough to announce when they go for something, nothing is guaranteed, some failure is inevitable, but why should we dream alone?
I take random hiatuses from my phone in general and I apologize if you’ve ever been victim to one of my “off grid” periods. But here’s the truth...I love seeing what people I care about care about, I love instagram. It has shown me places I could only dream of, lives I didn’t know existed, and made friendships possible despite space and time. It’s a little reminder that anything is possible, happiness is a choice, anyone can make art, yes...memes count, and that the littlest moments you capture in a photo aren’t just the “highlight reel”...they happened and if they’re important and you want a place to share and store your little loves, then do it for yourself.
Staring at the moon last night through the window of my little Hollywood studio I felt this overwhelming gratitude for this platform of connection, and here’s what I really think.
Nothing that’s true can ever be said too many times or in too many ways
You never know when the way you word something, your story, your perception and translation of a universal truth will be the spark that ignites the awakening of another soul
When you have an aha moment, when something “clicks” it’s not that you just figured it out, it’s often that your soul is remembering
The risk isn’t to say it, the risk is to not.
💫 thanks for sharing, you have ignited magic and helped me remember I am worthy of my dreams💫
