A fantastic weekend with the family at Lambeau Field cheering on the Green Bay Packers. Let's get this season started! Go Pack Go! 💚🏈💛

I absolutely loved the post Maria wrote for this picture yesterday and absolutely love Grant Davis for adding the Wizard of Oz logo to it for us today!! Please come see the Wizard of Oz this weekend!! "The "Tree-o" is back together again for another summer of fun with Rising Star Theatre Company! This year we are planted in the magical land of Oz where we are stirring up trouble for Dorothy and the gang! You can see us bring on all the sass this weekend down at the Five Flags Theater! The Wizard of Oz runs tonight, tomorrow night, and Saturday afternoon and evening! Tickets are only $15 for adults and $12 for students! Branch out and join us for yet another wonderful show!"

Tonight is opening night for Rising Star Theatre Company's production of the Wizard of Oz!! I have gained a family from this kind, beautiful, and talented cast and crew and am so thankful to have been rehearsing with them each and every day. I love them all so much and would love it if you came to see all of our hard work! Performances are July 14 and 15 at 7:30 pm, July 16 at 2:00 pm, July 20 and 21 at 7:30 pm, and July 22 at 2:00 pm and 7:30 pm at the Five Flags Theatre. Tickets are for $15 adults and $12 for students. It would mean a lot to all of us if you came! You don't want to miss this spectacular show!

I hope everyone had a Fourth of July weekend as amazing as the one I had with my family!

Pippin is already halfway done with its show run! There are only two more opportunities for you to see this spectacular show and amazing cast and you definitely do not want to miss it! Join us tonight at 7:30 pm or tomorrow at 2:00 pm at the Five Flags Theater, because we have some magic to do!! Tickets are only $15 for adults and $12 for students! We hope to see you there!

A week ago today, Maria and I were officially inducted into the Teacher Education Program here at UNI! Cannot wait to see what the next step of our journey has in store for us future educators.

"And we danced, and we cried, and we laughed, and had a really really really good time" ❤ Can't believe it has already been a week since the Big Event 2017! I am extremely proud of what our Panther family was able to raise this year for the University of Iowa Children's Hospital and Children's Miracle Network: $453,278.06, over $53,000 above our goal!! UNI Dance Marathon has changed my life, and I am so glad it has. I love every single person that is a part of this organization, and they inspire me to do my best and accomplish the impossible each and every day. If someone would have told me last year that I was going to raise $1000 by myself, I would not have believed them. Yet, here I am, holding the 1K button I've wanted since day one. No one or their family should ever have to go through what these families have to endure and I will keep dancing until that becomes a reality. I dance for the memories to made, just like the ones I made last Saturday. Once again, so proud of all of the dancers last week, especially our development committee who organized and led all of the Mini marathons across the state! "We dance for the chance, cuz there ain't no better way, UNI DM is FTK!!"

Went back to our parent's hotel to have a pizza, and apparently the cast was staying at the same hotel! The whole tour bus rolled in while we were waiting for the delivery boy. Got autographs, pictures, and talked with the lead for 15 mins, who I'm arm and arm with! We almost accidentally swapped room keys with her too! They were so sweet and soooooo talented, and they gave us their best wishes on our college careers. Best night ever!!

Pippin was amazing!! And little Theo from the cast came running out to see if we liked the show! Look out for Max Vivino! Love him!

All smiles because this girl flew to Italy today! I love you so much Leah and miss you already! Have fun in Florence this semester! Say hi to the homeland for us!

In honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, I thought I would share a picture from our choir trip to Washington DC in 2013, where we performed at various national memorials and monuments for the 50th anniversary of Martin Luther King Jr.'s "I Have A Dream" speech and the 150th anniversary of the signing of the Emancipation Proclamation. Thank you Martin Luther King Jr. for all of your contributions to our nation in the past that still are making an impact today. By helping African Americans gain their civil rights, you inspired the nation to continue to strive for equal rights for everyone. Thanks to you, I'm able to walk hand in hand with some of my closest friends who I never would have met otherwise, and I am so grateful for that.

Was scrolling through some old photos and came across this little gem. I took it because I wanted it for my birthday, but didn't realize the reflection was kinda artsy! Thought it was fit to post after completing finals this week! Happy break everybody!

P.S. If anyone doesn't know what to get me for Christmas, this is still on my list! Want it for our apartment next year! 😅
