Family update: we evacuated to Orlando and yesterday, June had a little accident (the hotel door smashed her left thumb) resulting in a hairline fracture and a pretty nasty laceration. We had to rush her to the ER where she was transported to Florida Hospital for Children. We stayed overnight and earlier today, she had surgery to repair her finger. Everything went smoothly and thankfully we were able to go back to the hotel before the 6pm curfew and well before the storm was supposed to affect us. June was such a trooper! She barely cried through the whole ordeal and was back to her old toddler self in no time. Of course, this is a testament to the wonderful doctors and nurses that treated her as well as my amazing level-headed husband @jessup2000. It was all pretty stressful on top of the whole #irmagerd situation. Still, #junebugonthego always finds the fun in things. Here's a picture of her enjoying the Disney Pavilion lobby. As we were leaving, she tells me, "mommy, I had a lot of fun at the hospital!" Oh boy, hopefully she doesn't keep getting hurt just to go back! Thank you family and friends for your support, well wishes, and prayers.
