Jowei Sun was born and raised into her family business: her parents have been in the food retail business since she was 3! She grew up watching and helping her parents at their snack shop, which sold variety of snacks, including their handcrafted #pecans.
Jowei graduated from @UCLA in 2015 with a degree in Linguistics and Asian Languages and Cultures with an intention of becoming a translator. She later realized her passion actually lied in food making, so she quit her job to perfect her family's pecan recipe and launch @thecrunchclub.
The name "Crunch Club", was inspired by the satisfaction you get when you take a bite of their crunchy pecans 😊 #KnowYourArtisan
