We got our first snowstorm of the year in PA today and all my friends have been posting pictures of their kids out in the snow but I don’t have any kids and snow is cold and wine makes me warm and I had enough foresight to plan for a bottle in my macros tonight for said snowstorm 😏🍷 So here’s to relaxing after almost dying on my two hour commute home followed by power cleaning my house for two hours πŸ’ƒπŸΌ Stay warm out there friends! ❄️❄️❄️

This was delivered fresh to me from @cleaneats2day and I was SO glad I just had to reheat it for dinner last night because after an hour commute home and an hour workout, I didn’t feel like waiting another hour for chicken to bake for my dinner 😝
If @cleaneats2day doesn’t deliver to your area though this would be a great healthy dinner idea: just bake chicken breast topped with a mixture of spinach, artichokes, low fat ricotta, mozzarella, and parm cheese πŸ˜πŸ™ŒπŸ» It was served with a side of sun-dried tomato orzo for 493 calories 45c/13f/49p and totally hit the spot for dinner last night. The rest of my meals from yesterday are listed below and added up to 1,690 calories 173c/55f/136p πŸ‘πŸ»
Breakfast: Veggie egg white scramble with side of PB2 Greek yogurt and coffee with cream & sugar
Lunch: 400g of spaghetti squash with low fat Alfredo and sweet Italian chicken sausages from @thinntrim

I’ve been very honest on here on how I’m no longer at my 100 pounds lost mark, and have been maintaining about 15-20 pounds higher than that. The picture on the right above was right before I hit my 100 pound lost mark when I weighed about 150 pounds. While I’m no longer that weight, I feel like mentally I’m in such a great place these days because my life no longer revolves around the scale and I feel life I’ve finally hit the β€œlifestyle” stage of weight loss, where I’m no longer obsessed with calories or macros and working out 7 days a week with no rest days...but rather am just focusing on living a healthy & balanced life 😊
That being said, I still know how easy it is to slip back into bad habits and I feel like I need a bit of a reset and diet refresher before the end of the year so I don’t let the holiday season become an excuse to just have a free-for-all and start the new year even higher on the scale 😳 I KNOW I’m capable of focusing a little harder and making a goal and sticking to it...because I mean well...look at that before and after picture πŸ‘†πŸ»πŸ˜± I did that!!!

We had no plans for the day...so obvi my first choice was to go visit a local winery for the afternoon πŸ’πŸΌβ€β™€οΈπŸ·

Mini pumpkin protein cakes for breakfast πŸ€—πŸŽƒπŸŽ‚ TBH: these cakes would look much more visually appealing if I added the included sprinkles on top for some color and β€œgram appeal” but sprinkles/β€œjimmies” literally make me want to vomit 🀒 so you just get these boring looking pumpkin cakes and have to take my word for it that they are really good and packed with protein πŸ€·πŸΌβ€β™€οΈπŸ’₯ I have a recipe for a high protein mini cake on my blog but these mixes from @lilbuffprotein are soooo convenient to just whip something up quick and easy Saturday morning before the gym πŸ˜‰ I used a β€œpump it up spice” mix and added 46g of egg whites, 75g of pumpkin, 30ml almond milk, pumpkin pie spice, and then poured it into 3 mini cake tins and baked at 350 for 15 minutes. Made a frosting with 2tbs of whipped cream cheese, 75g nonfat Greek yogurt, and 6g of sugar free cheesecake pudding mix. Only 373 calories 29c/10f/40p for all three mini cakes and the frosting (which there was a lot of 😏) These would work really well in a donut pan as well!
I’m off to the gym for a warm up on the stairmaster and then taking a spin class πŸš΄πŸΌβ€β™€οΈπŸ’¦ before hopefully finding something fun to do later today around home 😊 Happy weekend all!

V proud that I didn’t sleep through barre class two weeks in a row πŸ˜œπŸ‘―β€β™€οΈ And I went out last night too!!! But I still got my butt up at 4:45AM to make it to class. I never have a huge calorie burn from barre but man were my thighs shaking this morning 😲
I’m so glad it’s Friday and my workout is done for the day because I have grand plans of getting home tonight, changing into sweat pants, and spending the night in my craft room beading and catching up on some shows πŸ€“πŸ€— Woot woot! Happy Friday friends!

β€œRebecca: don’t you get tired of eating chicken and vegetables so much???” I get asked this a LOT. And actually...no I don’t! I genuinely like chicken and veggies. Is it the most exciting meal in the world? No. Could I eat something else for lunch 3/5 days a week? Yes. BUT. You know what I don’t get tired of? Eating dessert every night πŸ™ŒπŸ» My daily 3PM #snackbreak and a Coke Zero πŸ˜œπŸ™ŒπŸ» My body operates best with 3 regular meals & 2 β€œsnacks” a day which is why I keep my lunches pretty low calorie/low carb most days to leave room for those extras. I change up my snack & dessert everyday so I really don’t mind eating the same thing for lunch Wednesday - Friday...even if it is just chicken and veggies πŸ€·πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ
I DO get tired of cooking chicken and veggies each week though, but that’s why I order from @cleaneats2day meal prep so much so I don’t have to πŸ˜‰πŸ‘πŸ»

I did a thing πŸ™†πŸΌβ€β™€οΈπŸ˜±πŸ’‡πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ I’m kinda scared but I kinda think I like it πŸ€” It’s been years since I’ve had my hair this short, and as I’ve struggled with hair thinning I was scared to cut it and have even less of it πŸ˜” What is it about long hair that just automatically makes you feel more feminine??? It was feeling really lifeless lately though so I decided to change things up and went for a β€œlob” hairstyle. I need to practice a bit more but I styled it this morning using a 1 inch curling wand from @vanityplanetstore which helped to give it some volume and texture (I’ve linked the wand in my profile: code β€œgirlishcue” gets you it for only $30 and it’s really easy to use!) I’d love extra style tips from other girls with thin/shoulder length hair though!! Let’s hope I don’t cry when I wash it or put it up in a ponytail for the first time and realize how short it is πŸ™ˆπŸ™ˆπŸ™ˆ I’ll post a side pic and a link to my curling wand in my stories too πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘πŸ»
