Jack fun fact: I love to draw, freehand and simply create.
In elementary school from 4th - 6th grade I painted all of our school banners for different events.
When I was 10 years old my 4th grade teacher paid for me to attend summer Art classes. I loved it! I was able to freehand skulls, people, flowers and pretty much anything the art instructor put in front of us. We used all types of paints and different types of paper.
When I was about 12 years old I remember my step father asking me what I wanted to be when I grew up and I told him "I want to be an artist". His response was: "You'd be a starving artist. Do you know what that means? You'd never make money as an artist". From that moment on I stopped drawing.
However, I was still very proud of my pieces from that one summer I was blessed by my teacher to take art classes. I saved my art pieces for as long as I could in a plastic bin in my mothers garage as a kid until one day when I was about 15 years old I found that someone had gone into my bins and threw them out. I was crushed. The only thing I have to remember them by is my memory when I close my eyes and in vision them again.
I was so proud of myself and hoped to one day continue practicing art and helping people.
It's funny how God and the universe work because today I get to create new and challenging pieces of art work that are made specifically to up lift the lives of every individual that pushes themselves to get up each day and get themselves into their trainers studio.
I was blessed with a beautiful, intelligent daughter who loves to draw. I love to watch her get lost in her art work as she sits with her beautiful art book and plays music. I encourage her.
When one hurts you, it's just a matter of time that the blessings will fall in your favor. My higher power was always listening and watching every step of the way. 💛🙏🏼
Thank you @therealmandyblank for allowing me to go to my happy place and create in solitude. Thank you for not only challenging me to do things I have never done before but watching it all come to life and inspire the beautiful people that walk through your door each day. I love you my friend. ❤️
