NYFW was magical! 🦄 🌈 🌸 Thank you @Milly for inviting me to your Wildflower New York Fashion Week presentation.
Who wants the @Milly party scoop? 💕 🙋 Promptly at 2pm Saturday we were escorted into the Milly Soho store. As soon as I walked over the threshold you could smell the most beautiful scent of fresh wild flowers. I looked to my right and there was a canopy of exotic flowers and three models posing in Milly's iconic feminine silhouettes. I then walked downstairs and bam 💥 I was in a fashion blogger paradise. The splurge worthy Spring collection was sprinkled all around fashionable party goers. I checked out Milly's Spring 2018 and took note of 8 styles I want to purchase which includes a red pleated dresses, a baby blue lace tops, jumpsuit, colorblock dress, and ruffle jumpsuit. I then walked to the garden bar and fell in love with the signature drink The Drunken Gardner. As I sipped my delicious cocktail I stopped by the veggie garden bar full of carrots, celery, and beet juice. The gardener behind the table asked me if I would like a cut of anything. I will take some carrots and some beet juice. It was a brilliant concept that was spot on to the party vibe, brand, and collection. As for the guests... okay let's name drop 💁 my mega blogger crush @hellofashionblog (swipe to see my picture with Christine) , @thriftsandthreads , @huntforstyles, and @sunshine_and_peonies we're my favorite guests to attend. My top #millymoment was when I met Michelle Smith. I have been a fan of Michelle's since 2004 when I bought my first Milly dress in Los Angeles. Have you heard her story? Her designs are super feminine and her tailoring is top notch, but her story is what turned me into a devoted Milly girl. Upon graduating college she wrote a letter to the president of Hermes and asked for an internship in Paris. Her request was accepted and she interned in Paris with Hermes, Louis Vuitton, and Christian Dior. What a start! After 3 years of interning she built her own fabulous brand Milly. Michelle is a dreamer and a doer! She truly is an inspiration and it's no wonder why her clothing brand has been so successful year after year.
