Day 9 of 20 Days of Christmas Movies is Batman Returns, because nothing says Christmas like Danny Devito’s portrayal of The Penguin. Seriously terrifying.

Day 8 of 20 Days of Christmas Movies is The Santa Clause. My absolute favorite Christmas movie. I will watch it every single year.

While I was putting laundry away yesterday, I wrapped my Zelda scarf around Korin and he gave me the sweetest look and I almost cried.

Day 7 of 20 Days of Christmas Movies is The Ref. Dan and I had never heard of this movie until my cousin Mike suggested it. It’s from 1994, but there was a line in there that made me laugh but then almost cry because it’s still relevant. A mom says “What kind of people catch a criminal only to let him go free?” To which the daughter replies “Republicans.”

Day 6 of 20 Days of Christmas Movies is Die Hard. We were able to take my dad to the Alamo Drafthouse last night to see this on the big screen. It was a lot of fun and I really liked watching it in theaters instead of on tv.

Day 5 of 20 Days of Christmas Movies is The Christmas That Almost Wasn’t. This is a movie where Santa is behind on his rent so he has to get a job as a mall Santa to help pay back his rent and, therefore, save Christmas. This movie is so bad it hurts. Terrible movie, but fantastic MST3K episode.

Day 4 of 20 Days of Christmas Movies is The Night Before. I honestly wasn’t expecting much when we started watching this movie, but I was pleasantly surprised by it. It was funny but also sweet at the same time. I actually enjoyed it a lot!

Day 3 of 20 Days of Christmas Movies is Scrooge. Usually we watch this movie on Christmas Day, but we moved it back. In my opinion, this is the 2nd best Scrooge Movie right behind A Muppet Christmas Carol.

Day 2 of 20 Days of Christmas Movies is Home Alone. Last night we were lucky enough to get to go to the Alamo Drafthouse to see this on the big screen and they gave us unlimited cheese pizza. Then we walked out of the theatre and it was snowing.

It’s a winter wonderland in Austin. So glad Dan and I drove up last night to be here for Isaac’s first snow!!

Day 1 of 20 Days of Christmas Movies is Santa Claus is Coming to Town. This movie is funny to watch if you just assume the mail man is an insane person and he’s just making up this bat shit crazy story about a ginger boy who becomes Santa.
